Amir Khan has a very comparable resume to Cotto (if not better), Tim Bradley,Marquez,Carl Froch etc.

I had him losing to Clottey. You could call it a draw but i think that would be being kind to Cotto.

The Mosley fight i think Cotto maybe just shaded it. But a draw wouldn't be argued against.

Martinez, well Cotto might as well have been fighting Stephen Hawking that night.

The Trout fight, that schooling Cotto got seems to have been erased from boxing history. Nobody seems to talk about it. It's like a dirty secret, like when i ****** my cousin. Never to be spoken about again.

I like Cotto but you could say he either lost or drew all of his biggest fights when faced with an actual live opponent.

No way he has 3rd best resume in boxing lmao.
He has the 3rd best resume of all the current fighters. I think only Mayweather's and Pacquiao's are better.

Canelo has wins over Carlos Baldomir, Shane Mosley, Lopez, Austin Traut, Angulo ,Lara.

I'd say they both have pretty comparable resumes considering some of Cotto's losses also Canelo has only lost once probably to the Greatest Fighter of Our Generation.

No way does Cotto deserve the Lion's share in Canelo negotiations.

On basis of what??? please elaborate. I can make a case for Bradley having a far better resume than Cotto .

Canelo doesn't have good wins over Baldomir & Mosley. It's like saying Bradley stopped a Prime Casamayor. Canelo hasn't done anything to compare to Cotto. He's beaten Trout, Angulo, Vazquez, & Lara + a bunch of victories over shot fighters.

Cotto has a lot of solid wins. Paulie, Judah, Bailey, Quintana, Clottey, Mosley, and some wins over shot Martinez, injured Foreman & Margarito.

I'm not sure how you have come to that conclusion.

Mosley was a very good win, Margarito was a solid win, the version of Judah he beat was solid, I still highly regard the Torres win, Clottey was a good win...his resume is good.

I had Canelo beating Trout by a couple of points, but if we're playing the 'he did better against this guy' game then Cotto far outperformed Canelo against Mayweather so.... I also still think Canelo lost to Lara, clearly.

You're not seriously using most of those names to back up your argument are you?
