floyd signed after he put the blood test clause in.

Pacquiao didn't sign the contract, he ducked the fight and a 50/50split.

Warriors? One keeps on saying "health comes first". That is one of many roadblocks, I mean reasons, that Floyd didn't want the fight.

Cuz you dont understand the context of " health comes first", right? You KNOW that was in regard to him fighting someone without making sure they aren't on PaeD's yet u keep spewing that nonesense. Yeah? and what about all the reasons Pac didn't want the fight?

Dude, the drug testing was the only issue Mayweather had. Funny a few weeks ago Pac was screaming how he wanted to fight Floyd. Now that Floyd called him out on national tv, Pac has been silent as hell. He's now letting Arum speak for him. He's using the excuse of a Mexican holiday for not wanting to fight on Cinco De Mayo, even after Oscar said he would make Canelo and Cotto fight on another date. Somebody should call Arum out on this because Pac is the only one it's hurting

Exactly. These Pacquiao fans denying the truth because they lack critical thinking and the ability to comprehend real life. If Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's right hand man just said Pacquiao ducked the fight when it counted the most, then Pacquiao ducked the fight. Mayweather signed the first and ONLY legitimate negotiated contract, he was ready to go and Pacquiao ducked, lied his way out of the fight and got his "promoter, Bob Arum" to talk his way out and put the blame on Floyd.

Pacquiao is ducking again, he's silent since Floyd Mayweather called him out. He's silent since his own trainer said he ducked a prime Mayweather because he didn't want a blood test. He's silent so Bob Arum can get him Jessie Vargas just like he got Clottey and other paid off/ bull**** opponents. Pacquiao is a POS. Floyd Mayweather is not to blame, why is the A-side the one who has to compromise? Why is Pacquiao ducking Floyd and letting Bob Arum use a date as an excuse?

6 days left from 2014 and you guys still arguing who was at fault why the fight didnt happen 5 years ago? Boxing fights never won on arguments, it will be decided after the final bell or someone get KTFO. So enough with this school girls stuff. I hope Money will demand a realistic and more acceptable offer so that we will finally see who is better.

Yep! Freddie admits to the first round of negotiations, but I wish he would speak on the second round too:

But at this moment, the fault of a fight not being made falls squarely on the shoulders of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, who, in my view, simply doesn't want to make the match at a moment when there seems to be no legitimate impediment...

It was just this week that Arum said he would go to the Philippines to meet with Pacquiao and present him with the names of four possible opponents for May or June: Miguel Cotto, Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley Jr.

Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested.

He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May.

Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone.

I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?

A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope."

Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely.

"My mission is to go over to the Philippines and talk about these four guys," Arum said. "If Manny feels he wants to go in May, he will tell me. I want to make sure Manny's cuts are healed. We won't fall under this kind of pressure. June is much more likely for Manny's fight, not May."

So May was a real possibility yesterday, but now there's no way?

"What if they fought and Manny started bleeding on the first punch?" a clearly flustered Arum said. "I don't know if Manny is available to fight in May. I have no idea. I haven't talked to him; I haven't seen him. Seems to me, June is more likely based on what his plastic surgeon said."
