would be cool if he actually beat people down, and his offense wasn't simply another form of defense

seems all it serves is keeping his opponent honest and off him, and if he gets his way, there is no fight i.e rigo-agbeko/addy

The issue is he doesn't change the script, pretty much the same script every round and too much in between time before he punches. Rigondeaux likes to pretend like he doesn't get it and his fans play along with him as well. It's all down to stubbornness, personally I think Rigondeaux can excite people...if he's put in there against a fighter who isn't gonna check out once all else fails.

I don't care what rankings the P4P list has Rigo would shut Mayweather out easy 10 rounds. If Madaina can win 7 rounds against Mayweather how many rounds do you think Rigo would win ? Rigo number 1 pound for Pound Champ

          Yes, yes!

Caribe's website is the tell all in Rigo's lack of potential future success. You know those guys are a powerhouse, if only they updated that website.

Last I checked, and although I don't favor the way they are handling Rigo at the moment, Caribe did not go out of their way to annihilate Rigo's image in the public eye. Let's not fool ourselves.

Thanks for chiming in. But i'm not convinced.

He keeps winning, and has a high KO percentage. We can chalk up all the excuses in the world. If this guy were PR, Mexican or "spoke english"- black American this wouldn't be happening.

He'll have to continue winning, is all I can say. Or adopt Mayorga's personality.

I'm all for fun fights; but Rigondeaux is one of the best fighters on the planet.

I hate "defensive fighters who clinch" but Rigo makes you miss, and hurts you.

For 122; he sure as hell hits hard as hell.

No, I'm sure you share my opinion as well which is why you didn't even attempt to refute it. The real question is, how do you benefit by playing pretend?
