Yeah no, the cuts were so 'minor' that they were affecting his breathing and still contributing to blood loss. You really have dropped your IQ in this thread for some reason huh, you're usually a decent poster otherwise.

I've seen one punch KO's being called lucky but to claim that an effective right hand that caused deep cuts is "lucky punch" is beyond laughable. Go check this video out @ 1:17 it's the punch at the start of the third round

And watch the rest of the video too to see the amount of brutal power punches he was landing on Klitschko. Almost all the damage was on the left side of Vit's face too showing how much Lewis was landing his right hand.

Klitschko would always get his face torn apart against Lewis. He is not used to getting smashed in the face by a big HW like that. Lewis caused two or three cuts on the brow that exposed his skull, 3 very deep cuts on the cheeckbone, a gash on the lips that were also swollen and a bloody nose. 90 stitches and needed plastic surgery to fix it. He lost a ton of blood. If you really are going to attribute ALL of that to "one luck punch" then there is no talking to you guys.

vitali was breathing heavy becuz he was in there with someone as big and strong as him that was coming forward and pressuring him. not because of cuts and he wasn't exactly bleeding like a stuck pig. blood loss wasn't a problem it was his vision. the fight ending gash was caused by an unfortunate grazing shot

Lewis would have gotten stopped. Lewis has been stopped by lesser opposition and Vitali was on the fast track to a good finish.

I have honestly never seen such ownage in a fight that was technically lost. VK proved he was better than Lennox.

            Surely nobody would dispute that!

This thread just proves that most boxing fans will always see things subjectively....reminds me of Matthysse fans that swear he would have beat Garcia if his eye didn't magically swell shut.

The real title of the thread should be " How would the fight differ if Lewis had been motivated to train properly." Lewis had been known to under perform at times (Rahman, Mccall) and the fight against Vitali was yet another example of him slacking. Vitali gave Lewis all he could handle but in the end it simply wasn't enough.

I think we all can agree that Lewis turned Vk's face into a floppy vagina.

I mean, to dispute that would make somebody get so anus itched as to make a thread such as this.

                You know.

                A what if thread.

An old, shot Lewis still owned Vitali. A prime, motivated Lewis would've seriously hurt him.

If only Lewis hadn't employed clean effective punching to pulverize Vitali to the point where he was physically unable to continue...Vitali would've won!

Vitali's shitty ass defense and lack of ring IQ and awareness lost him that fight...he should've known that couldn't pull off that "hands down, leaned back" shit against someone who isn't a fat, lumbering slob or a C-level boxer...Lewis showed him that there are levels to this shit. The very best version of Vitali just wasn't good enough to beat an old, half-retired, out of shape Lewis coming off a year layoff.

Oh...and btw it wasn't just "a cut" that Vitali had...he had 4-5 seperate cuts on his eyes and on and IN his mouth that wouldn't stop bleeding, that required 60 stitches to sew Vitali's face back together.
