I believe this would be similar to Algieri vs Provodnikov however, Lucas and Provodnikov are definitely different fighters. I would lean towards Algieri but I would not be surprised if Lucas were to knock him out in the later rounds.

Matthysse has improved against "Movers" since the Judah and Alexander fight, the Ajose Olusegun was proof of that. Backing up against Matthysse is SUICIDE, you have to Box Matthysse from the INSIDE. Danny Garcia beat him on the Inside, Molina Jr had success when he was coming forward and ****ing with Matthyss, Molina Jr problem is that he can't avoid and slip punches

Styles make fights, I think Matthysse is a better overall fighter than Provodnikov

Algieri can't just move all night and expect to win on points against matthysse

You can't run from Lucas Matthysse if you don't have the power to earn his respect. Matthysse would chase Algieri down, beat him up, and stop him.

Lucas has awesome counter punches, Algieri jabs would be effective till Lucas adjusts. Matthysse would eventually close the distance and find Algieri on the ropes. If the fight is brought to the middle by Algieri it will be a long night. If it's taken to the ropes/corners Lucas takes it via TKO.
