Ward brings a small fan base, a boring style, diva demands, and nearly impossible to beat, and in the lawsuits now and no fighter in there right mind will fight him.

This guy's pretty vocal for someone who just failed Andre as a lawyer. I like Ward but what GGG's manager said has merit. Dan Goosen has very little incentive to help Dre at this point.

GGG was willing to go up for Chavez because it was a guaranteed PPV event with career high payday. Ward and his team can't guarantee that. Dude, last time ward fought which was in cali, his home state, the place was about 3/4 full. Dude can't even sell out in his home state but he wants superstar paydays. Sounds like ward and his team keep putting roadblocks if you ask me. Offer GGG the same offer Chavez did or somewhere in the neighborhood, guarantee you he signs

Has Goossen chimed in recently regarding this potential fight? He would obviously have a very big role in negotiations, so I don't necessarily believe everything that's coming out of Ward's camp.

Also, why would Ward's team want this fight now? Wouldn't all the interested parties involved (e.g., HBO, Team Golovkin, Team Ward, Goossen, K2, etc.) want to build it up and potentially generate enough demand for a successful PPV? At the very least wouldn't they want to ensure that it would be the highest-rated non-ppv bout in a long time?

However, in order for any of that to happen Ward has to keep his name out there by staying active.

The article reads at some point: "Andre Ward is ready, willing and able. We're just waiting on an offer."

Well, when someone like Andre Ward is ready, willing and able he sits down and write the offer himself (because he's ready and willing, right?) and email the offer to Golovkin's team... In case they don't answer or they are answering bulshit, then Ward would feel free to make public his generous and majestic offer... Isn't it so?

(I don't know how smoothly Ward is working with Goosen as long as the promoter sued him for some $10 million...)

Is this clown implying a 50-50 offer is a stumbling block in potential negotiations?

I guess that's what it feels like when you have all your fights in your own backyard, picking your cousins as the referee and judges.
