He is old. But at the same time he's one of the top guys in the division. He's crafty and discipline. I'd give Kovalev the credit he deserves even if it was by decision. I'm a fair man.

I'll give Kovalev all the props in the world if he beats Hopkins. Age has nothing to do with it. Hopkins has been beating his opponents based on ring IQ, not athletic abilities. Dawson beat Hopkins because he used his feet to continuously change range and by continuously giving Hopkins different targets and looks throughout the fight. Dawson did not do the same thing round in and round out. I've never seen Kovalev do anything different other than come forward, granted I've only been watching Kovalev since he fought C. White and you can also say his opponents have not forced him to do anything different. In a sense, Kovalev's boxing game is somewhat of a mystery to me. But if he can out smart Hopkins for 12 rounds or even KO him, I feel I have no choice but to give him his props and everyone else should do the same.
I know a lot of people think that Hopkins bit off more than he could chew with this fight, but I strongly feel Hopkins would not be taking this fight if he did not see something, and I mean a whole lot of something he could exploit.
