Smh, already discrediting him before he even fights the guy. Do you see how unfair that is? If Mayweather didn't choose the rematch then people like you would cry "duck" or "pu55y". If he chooses him then it's only because it's a "guaranteed win" lol. Why can't it just be that Mayweather chose the rematch because the first fight was competitive?

biggest reason being RJJ was more likely to "get old overnight" due to his athletic style and relying primarily on reflexes

mayweather is primarily a thinker who is also athletically gifted, who can get by without pure athleticism

not similar at all really, especially when you add in the real sequel; glove gate 2
rjj is more athletic and got more power. and mayweather rely more heavily on reflexes eg. his pullcounter required great reflexes and timing. he can sit on the rope without getting hit because primarily of great reflex.
mayweather would beat maidana easier. this will be a fight that'll showcase why maidana is 12:1 underdog. the gloves controversy just proves that floyd's a b1tch- and doesn't prove that maidana could do better.

Floyd is going to "Devon Alexander" Maidana, possible shutout.

Mayweather relies on his legs to control distance. He didn't do so good a job the first time against Maidana. If he can't control distance, he's that much more likely to get caught. Roy wasn't just some speed phenom, like Mayweather he had the skill to fully utilize that speed.

Both fights feature an ATG considered invincible as they approach the end of their careers and receive lots of TBE talk. Both feature a difficult style matchup that either of the ATGs would have handled relatively comfortably in their prime. They even had the same scorecards.

Just like with Roy/Tarver 2, people are just assuming the first fight was a bad night and ignoring Floyd's age and decline. People assume Floyd can just fight differently, while ignoring what Maidana does that is so threatening to Floyd at this stage in his career.

Am I probably wrong? Yeah, but I'm going with this. There's a lot to suggest this won't be as simple as Floyd fighting differently or better than the first time, and that Maidana might beat him.

Lol at everyone mad that Maidana lost a fight that went exactly the way he wanted it to go. I'm expecting a decisive victory for Floyd. If he uses his legs, it will be a long night for Marcos.

I think Floyd implements more laterally movement and fights more on the outside instead of the ropes in the rematch. Then again who knows, Maidana did surprise me by making it close and entertaining.
I never liked Floyd or Maidana and I expected a shut out in the first fight. But what I saw in there that night wasnt a guy trying to give the fans what they wanted to see. I saw a guy whos declining and getting old.

It was similar in the last fight, Chino looked fresh at the end, Floyd was a bloody mess.

I voted Mayweather wins on points. I think Maidana will deserve to win but the judges will give it to Mayweather by split decision because they almost always get to the judges on these big fights. Mayweather is the huge star and the big money maker. The powers in charge don't want him to lose.

                      Another Poll....smmfh!

Floyd has his legs....and how many times have we heard "He is declining and he lost his legs" (In beetch a55 haters voice). Thousands

How many times have we heard "He gonna get Roy Jonesed" ( In my beetch a55 hater voice). Thousands

Mayweather has skill in the fundamentals of boxing and Jones had skill in just be excellent athletic specimen with speed.

This wont be an pretty fight and will end up with Madonna being fustrated
