Oscar has the Latinos in his pocket. Latinos especially Mexicans are keeping the sport alive. How many years until many and Floyd are done with boxing? Who's taking over? Al has a advisory contract with how many fighters? Are they going to fight each other every month? TNT is a shell company, Al Haymon has no promoter's license. After Floyd they loose their power, at first it was Berto then Bronner, now is Porter l. How until there's a successor for Floyd even Pac has only a couple years left. There isn't generational change of command. Like we had when Oscar and floyd, fought. After floyd they are left with a lot of overhyped overpaid boxers. This is boxing most expensive card ever, Do you think it will be the most successful ever? Investment/rewards. This is bad business, they make money with Floyd but they loose money with this other fighters. There is only one mega fight out there and we will never see it. We will have to keep watching who ever beats Berto and Broner, like they are the gate keepers of a mega fight. Top rank is no better. We are getting the same fights over and over. Boxing is dead. Promoters don't make money except for Floyd and manny fights. At least top rank make money off Pacquiao. GbP doesn't make money off Floyd.

WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. chimed in on the internal rift in Golden Boy Promotions between CEO Richard Schaefer and company President Oscar De La Hoya.

Golden Boy has co-promoted Mayweather's last nine fights. They will co-promote, along with Mayweather Promotions, Floyd's fight on Saturday night against Marcos Maidana at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

For several months, there has been tension between Schaefer and De La Hoya regarding the direction of their company.
