I laugh at people saying Floyd isn't an All Time Great though. He most definitely is.

He's nowhere near the best ever, or the Top 10.....but he's inside the Top 30 ever IMO. Same with Manny.

And depending on certain guys end their careers, some of Floyd's wins could be looked at even better down the line.

Floyd is held to an unbelievably high standard on here. The only guy that comes to mind where he can fight a Top guy in the weight class, coming off 3 decent/solid wins at the weight, with a title, and be called a cherry pick of a fight.

He's beaten the best or close to it at nearly every weight class.

130: Genaro and Corrales were the best there

135: Castillo was the best there, and the best LW of the era probably

140: Tszyu was the best JWW of his time, but was injured when Floyd moved up there. Then lost to the other best JWW there in Hatton, who wanted nothing to do with Floyd at 140. Floyd would later beat him at 147 anyways while he was Top 10 P4P/undefeated.

147: The best WW of his time were Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, and Mayweather himself. Obviously Pac hasn't happened yet for whatever reason. Cotto didn't happen at 147, but did happen while Cotto was past prime-still good at 154 and a top ranked fighter. Mosley did happen while he was Top 3 P4P and seen as one of the best fights to be made in the sport at the time. Floyd had wanted to fight Mosley earlier, but as we know Mosley wanted nothing to do with that. And Pac can still happen.

154: In 2007, Mosley coming off the Vargas win was probably the best there since Winky had moved up to MW, but Oscar was still a good fight there. In 2012 Cotto was the best fight for him at 154, and in 2013 Canelo/Lara are the best fighters at 154, with him beating Canelo who was the RING champion.

So he's more or less beaten most all the top guys at the weight classes when he was there, aside from 140 which really wasn't his fault, and Pacquiao which is probably both guys fault.

Sorry Floyd, you can't go down as the best ever since you admit that you do not want to risk your health and end up crippled in a fight with Pacquiao. I appreciate the honesty, and I respect your decision, but to be the best ever, you must fight the best of your era and you did not.

Pacquiao is the best fighter of this era, particularly between 2006-2010.

Back in HBO 24/7 you can see mayweather was portrayed like every other fighter.... in Showtime's All Access you can see is all pro-mayweather... TBE fight everyone in their prime... like the greatest back in the day... Ali, Frazier, Sugar Ray, etc... mayweather is just a popstar who has his 0 intact because he cherry pick's fighters at the right time.

Lol wow revisionist history, nice job. How much do you get paid for being a propagandist poster for TMT? You forgot to mention that Mayweather lost the first fight to Castillo. Mayweather never fought the best at 140 or 147 while they were at the top of the divisions. And Mosley was way past his prime when he fought Floyd as was De La Hoya. I'll give Mayweather credit for the Canelo at the time although I'm seriously questioning whether Canelo is just a hype job and product of an extremely weak 154 pound division.

Besides the flashy cars, girls and shopping sprees we're used to seeing in every Mayweather show, I enjoyed watching how Floyd has young kids watching him in his training camp, and how he's actually showing them at a young age how to box.
You know in the next 8-9 years we're going to be hearing about these young kids being top prospects in the country.

I wonder what ever happened to cash flow, the little kid they had on 24/7 a few years back? Kid was showing some great talent at such a young age. So was uncle Rogers son.

Canelo just beat the dog piss outta Angulo, and has beaten Trout. He's pretty good. We'll find out how good against Lara though.

Revisionist history??? I'm guessing you weren't around then

                He still.....did.....beat.....Castillo....rematch remember???

Mosley turned down fighting Floyd in 2005 and 2006. And when he beat Mosley, he was Top 5 P4P coming off the Margarito win, and EVERYONE said Floyd would duck him. So you're actually the guy revising history man.

De La Hoya was past prime in 2007, but that was THE FIGHT to made at the time. And he fought Oscar at a weight he was way undersized at. Oscar was still a Top 5 JMW at the time.

Mosley by the way was the real #1 WW after he beat Margarito.

He's obviously pushing this "TBE" thing so people can call him "The best ever" by default much like Muhammad Ali and "The Greatest".

Not very subtle. He should go ahead and officially change his nickname to that.

He knows, as does everyone else, he the best ever of THIS era. Ray Rob and Ali were the best of THEIR era. But he has folks arguing over it as intended.
