Rousey gets lit up with punches for at least a few seconds in every fight she's ever had, with the deer in the headlights look. WMMA outside of 2 fighters is garbage and most importantly none of those women including Cyborg have any punching power or defensive skill. So no, it's not impossible to see a 200 pound Wolfe KO her with one punch.

I worked as a bartender in downtown Milwaukee for 4 years, I saw a lot of bar fights. I'd say probably 60-70% of the time when the former HS wrestler/MMA guy went for a takedown they ended up losing the fights or be losing by the time bouncers got there. Granted there was often quite a bit of alcohol involved, but being able to throw hard crisp punches is the best tool to have in street fights. Are you going to be rolling around on the ground trying to put a friggin triangle hold or armbar on some dude while 2 of his buddies stomp your ass out? From my personal experience, your post is vapid garbage and frankly flat out wrong.

In my experience, people will let the combatants at each other as long as they're standing, but once it goes to the ground that's when other people jump in to help out and things get ugly. Obviously that's not as much of an issue if the fighters are the only ones around, but usually that's not the case.

The thing is that once Wolfe is down it's pretty much over. I think the chances of Rousey taking her down before being KTFO are higher than the chances of her being knocked out before she takes Anne down.

For boxers without grappling training the window of opportunity is very short against most high-level MMA combatants.

You're IGNORANT. Sucks hearing that doesn't it? How do I know? But you assume punches have a longer reach than a wrestling shoot. AND I know your ignorant because if you EVER did any wrestling or judo you would know this as EVERY MMA fighter/wrestler knows. All it takes is one shot to close the distance, meaning NO punches can land. The only risk is getting a knee to the face, BUT if the guy isn't a Muah Thai fighter or trained in kickboxing it ISN'T going to happen. From closing the distance they'd be in whatever position they want to be in with an ignorant person such as yourself. Over under clinch or whatever. From there it's ANY takedown they want to do on the ignorant person. And from there it's ANY submission they want to do, and from there once unconscious or limbs broken we can do ANYTHING we want to do with you.

We see people in the news time and again saving lives because it is the SUPERIOR fighting form to boxing. Just watch early UFC and the Gracies who challenged ANYONE to fight them and jiu jitsu ALWAYS won over ANY type of striker boxing, kickboxing, kempo, etc.

Now MMA encompasses all those arts and you think a narrow minded IGNORANT boxer who is NOT a martial ARTIST could compare? Go train at an MMA place or better yet go with your big head if it fits in the door of an MMA gym and say you want to fight in the cage with no training just your boxing and get your ass handed to you.

A pro boxer that is world class will knock out a mma guy with 4 ounce gloves.
