Good fight. I used to think Gamboa would run through Mickey, but I don't think that's the case anymore. They both shown vulnerabilities. Martinez dropped Mickey and Gamboa has way more power, speed, and faster reflexes than him. Yet on the other hand Gamboa is always picking himself off the canvas as well.

Anyway, 50/50 fight IMO. Mickey's size and reach could be a factor. Definitely could be it's own headliner but they could further sell Pac-Bradley II with this on the undercard.

Yeah, I don't care what anyone says, this fight is a toss-up. That's one of the things that makes it so desirable. Fingers crossed that it's really going to happen; but I've been saying since last year that I expected these guys to fight in 2014, so it comes as no surprise.

I'm not a big believer in Floyd Sr, but he's a huge step up from Gamboa's father, Carlos, who trained him for his last two fights. At least Yuri will now have a real pro trainer for the biggest fight of his career. Hopefully it makes the difference.

Good fight but not as big as it could've been. Gamboa hasn't looked impressive at all since the news of the PED's hit. Mikey should be able to clinically break him down. My only fear is that given how both performed in thier last fight that this one turns out to be a real stinker.

I think defense is Gamboa's most glaring weakness. I don't know if he's going to be his head trainer, or if he's just working with him on the side.

If top Rank plans on making Garcia a future PPV attraction, why not put him underneath Manny vs Bradley on April 12th? It would help with sales and possibly bring new fans his way if he wins impressively.

thats the thing, top rank is too greedy to do that, why put a main event on a undercard, thats their mind set, even though i think if they did this the pac vs bradley 2 will prolly end up bringing in more money than to have both of these fights on a different date.

It would be on par with Garcia/Mathysse if they did it.
Instead we get some 100 lb Asian guy who nobody wants to see.....
