      If in NYC,I'm in there..
I cant stand Danny Garcia. But why anyone would pick Peterson over him is beyond me. Peterson is a long guy who gets caught up fighting on the inside. All he'd do is get caught with Garcia's glory hook as soon as he decides to exchange on the inside which he always does. He's not that quick at all and he decides to throw left hooks on the inside with shorter, stronger, and faster guys. Not a good idea.

He did fight a good fight against Jean or whoever the **** this guy was. How that merits him a shot at Garcia is beyond me. Im not sure who Garcia should fight next.

Let me let you in on a secret, mandatory are usually some of the hardest fights for a fighter..Jean might not be the biggest name, but he was starving bro and very dangerous..Peterson deserves some credit for this victory..

Outside of the PED issue he's got a great rags to riches story and he comes to fight. He's a hard not to pull for him.

People that watch ShoBox know that Dierry Jean was no slouch. A lot of people picked him to win last night.

Peterson has proven himself over and over to be one of the better fighters at 140. He fought Bradley tough. He drew with Ortiz after a rough start. He beat Khan. He's beaten up most the fighters he fought in between those big fights. Other than Matthysse, there's never been a big fight where Lamont looked like he didn't belong.

Other than dislike because of the drug cheating, which is totally understandable and I won't argue with, why wouldn't people want to see Garcia/Peterson? It's a fight between two of the proven best in the division.

Well Peterson is the only other belt hold for him Danny to fight..Prov is fighting with TR so there is very lil chance for that fight to be made..So Peterson is the next best thing,as long as both are planning to stay at 140lb..

Peterson is easy to hit,but Garcia is not a hard guy to touch either..Peterson has some advantages in this match up too..Peterson has very good timing himself, and works the body like nobody's business..I won't lie Peterson look a bit gun shy early in yesterdays fight..He came around tho,he can't afford to be hesitant against Garcia tho..

I'm not picking Peterson to win,in fact even when us fans was talking about this fight last yr I was leaning towards Danny to beat both Peterson and Matt's..All I'm saying is that it's a really good fight..If it get's made,I'm not gonna lie,I'd be pumped..

I still can't pull for a drug doper, that would make me a hypocrite, Pederson is a drug cheat just like Mosley.

PEDS aside, it's a bit of a nothing fight. Danny Garcia isn't losing to Lamont Peterson, I don't think many people would pick Peterson. Personally, I see it as a 70-30 fight, maybe even 80-20 which Garcia likely wins by KO given his power and how easy LP is to hit.

Garcia should fight Provodnikov next. If he can't get Provo then Peterson's not a bad interim fight but I don't believe he deserves the payday.

Yea or Lucas should've lifted the belt from Peterson when they fought and Danny got it from Lucas. Either way Danny should have all the straps right now.

I wish Danny could fight Provodnikov and then move up.
