Comments Thread For: WBC Warns Tyson Fury of Possible Suspension, Fine

It is unacceptable to allow defamatory statements to remain unanswered. The WBC therefore must provide the facts regarding false and defamatory statements made by Tyson Fury.

The facts in Mr. Fury’s case are plain and simple:

    · Hennessy Promotions requested the WBC's support to officially sanction an elimination fight between Fury, then WBC ranked No. 3, vs. Kevin Johnson, who was then ranked only No. 32 by the WBC.

Who did Deontay Wilder beat to be ranked so high?

I am backing Fury not the wretched WBC. He just wants to fight the best, even though he prob is not the greatest Heavy but he is entertaining and really wants to fight the best fighters in his division not that there are many greats in the heavies today, but he is trying to make a fight with Wilder who, padded record or not, has insane knockout power.

        Shut up , Sulaiman!

Let Fury talk, it's what fighters are supposed to do. Fury's big mouth helps the sport of boxing, you should be thankful for him.

Maybe Fury forgot to pass over a bag full of cash when appealing to have his ranking moved.

These guys are so full of themselves and their own self importance. Fury should tell them to go to hell with their diamond belts and joke ratings.
