Alexander and Khan did too. So what?
And Khan whopped Paulie worse than Broner did.

It doesn't make sense.
Floyd has all his faculties in tact he wants to walk away from boxing like that and with a lot of money, and he will do just that.
What good reason is there for Floyd to take on a risk such as Pacquiao?

So I'm not going ape**** about Fgloyd fighting a lesser opponent. Ward just fought Rodriguez. Pac just fought Rios. Its not against the rules to take a tune-up/stay busy fight between the big ones. And the beauty of being a fan is that if I'm not interested, I don't have to buy it. I don't see what's the big deal if it is Khan.Originally posted by rasdun View Postno its not but when you charge $65 -75 per fight the fans desrve a challenge, Rios was only a 4-1 dog. Khan is a 10-1 dog

Those hits you see on WSHH are paid for. If ya haven't figured out.

It is going to be Khan no doubt but that is just one fight it will probably be entertaining, not meaningful at all but it will probably be fun to watch.
It is not worth any thought or effort though it would just be mindless entertainment really, like a simple action movie where you know who will win no matter the odds.
Floyd is not fighting a Top Rank guy just isn't going to happen, if they couldn't make it work for all that money they can't make it work now. GBP has guys but Garcia is the best one and he is not pressing for that fight right now plus it is probably better down the road. The rest of the options throw them in a bag and pull one out because they would all be about the same to the general public a guy with a glossy record who will somewhat look the part that any real boxing fan knows won't have a shot in hell of pulling the upset.
The only difference with Khan being he brings in a bit more from some overseas sources and is possibly a bit better known being featured more but likely anyone having seen those knows Khan's deal.
