he will need to bite down on his gumshield a few times against froch but he certainly has all the tools beat him!

It is a pretty interesting match up. Groves is surprisingly fast on his feet, and has some boxing skills at range. But Froch is actually surprisingly awkward if you try boxing him from the outside. Kessler took a few rounds to adjust to Froch in their last fight.

I don't see Groves adjusting. And Froch leaps in with his combinations; I'm not sure Groves can stay out of those. Groves was mostly able to stay away from Degale, but Degale was trying to box and following Groves around. When Froch follows Groves, hes going to trap him and punish him. The other thing we have to consider is, Froch is much better than he used to be. Put down to PEDS or whatever, but his work rate has increased has hes aged, and his power has gone up too (well maybe).

I was going to put a lot of money on this fight. I wanted to bet big on Froch, but I guess I'm not going to. Just bet on Pac to KO Rios. That I fully believe.

I still think Froch is going to beat Groves, maybe KO him, but not too sure now.

I'm not sure if groves can hurt froch in a sense of stiffening his legs with a single shot, but I do think in the early rounds he'll have the chance to land with a few clean shots. He needs to target the nose not that granite chin, don't try and wobble Carl, dehabilitate him, break his nose bad. If he can damage it to an extent it effects his breathing it might give him a shot in the later rounds that many are expecting to belong to froch.

          Yes...
Plus: his jab is even more effective, since Froch has long hands... In terms of reach... Froch 191cm... Groves 184cm...
... As long as Froch has his legs underneath, he would prevail...

Groves doesnt have the speed and athleticism of Dirrell, but his head movement, and confidence in his defense, is waaaaay more matured. Dre just doesnt have the focus.
            Dirrell is past tense... Excuses...
