Who said Vazquez is now more appreciated? More understood as slippery and light fisted, but not more appreciated. Quillan by decision? I like Rosado, but Quillan will land his bombs. Rosado is no Vazquez.

But that's the exact same way the people he's talking about react to everything. What's funny is he isn't being childish at all, just sarcastic, and a lot of hit dogs are hollering because of it. They can't criticize his point, so they go on a rant about his writing style, like they came expecting Hemingway or some ****.

Frazier never quit after many KDs from Foreman, now that was the heart, especially when the punches are heavy in weight

Watched the hellacious Melendez vs Sanchez UFC fight, now that was no quit too, especially Sanchez !

But listening to Sanchez' interview afterwards, he sure is on the way to a health problem later, I think. His voice was really slurred, so far from the Sanchez in his UFC debut ...
Frazier did stop in his corner vs Ali.

No, Eddie Futch stopped Frazier, and Frazier resented him for it.

Am I the only one who has no problem with this article? I'm not sure if all these posters on the first few pages are serious. Clearly he is poking at the keyboard warriors who have been suggesting Mike should of kept fighting, etc

Biased and bad character. Should be banned. No respect at all for Alvarado.

I enjoyed the article. Alvarado did what was best in his interest. All the fans to continue watching a beating maybe his last, or give up and try again down the road. Fighters who quit generally look at the long term part, he's not getting paid extra to take a beating...he's not coming back to win it. This is his job and if he can't perform it he doesn't get paid, it's life.

As for Bradley he fought ****** to please the fans and got criticized. As someone else said, fighter ****** and get criticized or fight smart and get criticized....He chose the smart fight and won with a lot less damage taken. Ruslan should be thanking Bradley for their fight because it built him up, he lost but gained a lot of hype and respect for it. If Bradley fought as he normally does Ruslan wouldn't be mentioned, wouldn't have been given a shot at a 140 title like this....

Fighters are going to look after themselves, if you don't like it don't tune in...they do this to make a living, it isn't a fun hobby they have in their free time.
