Lmfao at all these Floyd momos crying about how Floyd should fight MW and ward and Froch! Dude Canelo is barely bigger than Floyd and ward towers over Floyd so in your theory ward is too big for Floyd but just right for Canelo? Do you guys actually think before you post?
Why does Canelo have to fight Martinez but not Floyd?

the MANAGMENT of the fighters negotiate contracts

i DO believe they mentioned a rehydration clause

If i go to to buy a car my first offer is always a low ball! why? because i wanted to see how much the dealer is willing to come down. Do i think he is going to take it? NO way, but that way we work to a middle ground that ultimately we both feel are fair. If not, then i walk

the same concept can be used with any fight. Money the cash cow, the undefeated champion, the A-side of the ppv. Why do you act like he has to appease the demands of canelo.

If 152 is the contract signed then it was signed with both mayweather/canelo's team agreeing it was a fair deal. In canelo's case he had more incentive to walk than ANY other fighter because 1. he's young 2. he is a rising star. 3. as long as he keeps winning that fight is there in the future

Mayweather is not going to be like "Oh you want me to come to 154? no problem" "You want the ring 6x6? Sure" "I can only use my left hand? Ok sure, after all i am the best"

      that's not how it works

With that said all of this is just more hype for the fight. Soon we'll be able to see for ourselves how it all plays out
      floyds his own boss though.

Floyd wasnt dumb enough to sign a contract like that. His contract is made where he can retire right now, and walk away with 200 million. They basically used that MMA budget they had, and gave it all to Floyd. If Floyd was a jerk, he would have fought devon. Showtime cant make him do anything, or he will just run off with their money if they dont act right!

But you also have to understand that nobody calls the shots for Floyd. Even Al Haymond said as much. Floyd dictactes the contract and Al handles the negotiations, but if what they come up with in the end isn't what Floyd wants, it doesn't happen.

I'd be my right nut that Floyd pushed hard for 147. It blows my mind that he actually agreed to 152. Mayweather talks big about how easy this will be for him and that Canelo is just another payday, but we'd all be fools to think the Mayweather wasn't taking this as serious as cancer. People don't fight fights they know they've already got in the bag. He doesn't need the money. He doesn't need the legacy boost. Why else would he fight Canelo if he didn't feel that Canelo was a true threat? He deserves credit for growing a pair and accepting 152. A risk like that is VERY unlike the Floyd we've spent the last decade watching.

            lmfaaoooo SMDH.

i remember when pacquiao was falsely accused of having rehydration clause.

Now floyd fans want rehydration clauses.

            you people make me sick.

            SHAMELESS AND DISGUSTING.
its almost not even funny anymore. every way you turn, Floyd is clowning his own fans. I guess the best part is, watching them spin it, "oh oh, he was just being sarcastic. oh oh, but Floyd calls the shots so its different"

I find it funny that most of the flack falls on Mayweather shoulders when he is moving up 5lbs above his natural weight, people would have complained to no ends if he didn't fight a guy that will outweigh him by close to 20lb on the night of the fight, a difference of 3 weight classes.
Floyd's a champion at 154, canelos weight class.

Team Mayweather has a proven record of lying and Canelo has never been shown to lie or contradict himself as Floyd so often does. Team Mayweather started off wanting this fight at 147 pounds as reported in boxing scene top headlines. Canelo had to bargain him up to 152. Floyd was never going to fight him at 154 so it was 152 or no fight. Of course Canelo wanted to fight at 154. The 152 catchweight is 100% team Mayweather's doing and if they had their way the weight would be 147 or 150.
Well an idiot might assume that a negotiation has to start somewhere , unlike you haters spinning out of context from your ass , these people are professional businessmen sitting on top of the tree looking down .

Was you on Mannys back for starting his negotiation with Cotto wanting 143 and a rehydration clause , was Manny a coward for wanting these CWs ?

Floyd is a WW you imbecile off course he would like it at 147 , do you give him any credit for giving Canelo 20 lbs on the night , oh no cant give Floyd any credit that's blasphemy .

If I was Floyd id have had no catchweight but for sure had a rehydration clause. Canelo is a middleweight fighting much smaller men. Like Chavez Jr it will cause him a short career once his body cant take it and he is forced to fight men his own natural size.
