It could happen but now fighters know more about that counter punch from Garcia so it's more predictable than before. It is certainly an effective punch but if the opponent expects it, he can definitely defend against it better.

Remember that Garcia uses it mostly as a counter punch. While Lucas uses his punches no matter what the circumstances are. If Lucas fights smart he can neutralize Garcia's counter.
