Umm how do you know he's improving? He's been looking like a monster vs WWs but looked like **** vs Trout. If anything his performance diminished from previous fights.

Canelo sounds a little spoiled. Mind you that he was calling out Floyd before Floyd fought Cotto. But people want to use this belt thing as an excuse. I hope Floyd does fight Canelo so he can learn a lesson about the big leagues. Canelo is a handled spoiled fighter and I hope he gets better down the line but he doesn't deserve a big payday just because he beat Trout. Trout is the only decent name on his resume.

canelo did not kick trout's ass. stop it. half the viewership had it going in the other direction and media scores were almost evenly split as well

For Canelos sake, he needs to back off. He still hasn't beaten anyone. He couldn't put away Mosely and IMO lost to Trout, but you could argue a 1point win or draw because of the KD. Anything more than that is ludacris.

But more importantly the fight will never happen with Mayweather. Hell, Floyd would fight PAC before he would fight Canelo. It's not because he's scared but for two other reasons:

1. Floyd haters want to see him lose, just as PAC haters did with Bradley.
2. Canelos wide bs margin win against Trout show refs cheat for him.

Floyd won't take a chance fighting against someone the refs widely favor especially when people want to see him lose. He learned his lesson with the split decision win over fan favorite De La Hoya, to ever take that risk again.

As far as I'm concerned, discussing a fight between these two is a total waste of time. It's like expecting to see Tyson fight Ali. It's only possible in fantasy land.

Canelo is in no position to be making demands, but this is the most competitive fight out there for Mayweather outside of Martinez or Pacquiao.

Even with the weight advantage, Canelo will lose. If I'm Mayweather, I'd jump at this.

Every 154lb contender should be pissed. Canelo has plenty of options in his own weight class.
