2) Floyd is p.f.p. and ppv king... so he calls the shots, not Caleno.
3) For Floyd to earn the kings throne he had to concede to ODL's every demand (weight, glove size, ring size, purse split..). What makes Canelo think he deserves to be treated any different.
Canelo can get it anytime he wants!!!
All he has to do is concede.... exactly they way Floyd did to earn the kings throne.
Thanks for taking the time out your day to school another uneducated dummy thank you! lol

If Canelo want's Floyd come to his weight like Dawson did Ward, like Rios is doing Pac, like Rosado did GGG, you see the trend?? If you want the TOP dog you have to go to his weight ******!
Why do you think Canelo fought Trout in Texas?? Because Canelo was the draw and Trout had to follow suit. Now it is time for canelo to take and seat and play the supporting role... I know you can't come back with any logic like I just hit you with, but sometimes dudes need to be schooled.

GBP already has the rest of the year lined up for all of his potential opponents:
Garcia vs. Peterson/Matthysse
Khan vs. Alexander
Berto vs. Soto Karrass
Maidana vs. Josesito Lopez
There is nobody from 140-147 that is available to fight him in September.
Plus he has 6 more months to defend his WBA title which he said he plans on defending in his next fight.
It's clear that Floyd vs. Canelo is happening in September. People just want to accuse him of ducking to troll.
Is it so clear? He had an easy opportunity to get it locked away for September way back in January. He said he was going to do one thing but when it came down to documenting it on paper, he pulled a 180 and said he doesn't get dictated to by anyone.
Brook conveniently "gets injured".........AGAIN and Alexander gets to fight Purdy instead. People ask, "why freakin Lee Purdy?" Because freaking Purdy is an easy win that won't cause any damage leaving Floyd with another opponent coming off of a win.
The fight is happening in a week which leaves PLENTY of time before September. Floyd's opponent for September has already been selected......

There is no better fight to be made right now, what's the hold up? Or are people seriously saying they would rather watch Floyd Alexander?

I think Floyd stans are more worried about his health than anything else. They should have picketed in front of the prison for them to give Floyd spring water.
Look we all want to see a Canelo/Floyd not because we think Canelo will trash him but because he has a belt @ 154 and the unified champ is Canelo. Two undefeated fighters going at it is a plus. Let him take on a fkn challenge for once. We want to see a PPV we actually want to buy

Alexander
Khan
Some latin fighter that is having some wins but still lacks skill or Canelo if he happens to lose given he actually takes on challenges

With all due respect...thats absolutely ridiculous. This is sport, not a coliseum duel...Though it is a violent sport, the name of the game is still winning.
Fighters have styles, just like any other athletes in sports. When fighters try to fight in ways that aren't in their best interest, for the purpose of pleasing fans, thats when they lose.
These are human beings and this is a brutal sport. The man that can participate in this sport, make a ton of money and leave with his mental and physical faculties is the winner.
Not the guy with slurred speech, pennies to his name and one who is holding on to nothing more than the respect from fans that say: "He fought in some wars, he was a real warrior."
How many bills does that pay?
people like you say: "the legends are who impacted the world and took the chances to fight everyone and risk it all for the fans."
Risk it all for the fans for what? So somebody you never met in your life can regard you as great but you're still a shell of yourself in front of children and wife?
Come on man...don't ask another man to do something you wouldn't be willing to do yourself.
This is a business as much as it is a sport. Guerrero is a good fighter that Money made look ordinary. When you're gifted athletically, you can make the opposition look that way, if you fight you're fight.
The art of the sport has always been to hit and not get hit.
say he's ducking. say he's dodging but in the end his track record will speak for itself. he's beaten plenty of surefire hall of famers.
he doesnt need to take this fight, but i hope he does.
One of the realest things I've read on here keep that up!
