Max Kellerman probably knows more about boxing then all of us that post on here combined.

      Knowledge of history =/= Intelligence.

I have heard many fighters and analysts say he’s like an encyclopedia when its comes to boxing history, but he also knows a lot about the sport, and I don’t know why people were saying he was kissing up to Broner, even before the fight started he was talking about Broner being good but having a suspect resume.

I will say his post fight interview was a bit disrespectful to Rees but people on speak on emotions instead of facts

Edit: I might be exaggerating, but I was surprised they weren't slobbing on a European white guy having success against a ****y black guy.

That's probably why it seems more dramatic than it probably was.
They called the fight correctly. Job of the commentators is to inform the viewers of what happened. They praised Rees effort, his heart and the problems he caused Broner in the first two rounds. However they were also honest when it became apparent that his punches were not shaking Broner as opposed to screaming ''**** **** **** want another **** **** **** try and stop me''. The casuals will know what went down.

As for Kellerman I thought he behaved like a ****, I also felt Broner behaved like a **** after the fight ( Not convinced of the Sky team praising his humility). In the moment I felt they displayed a lack of tact but that is just my opinion.

I wonder if Ajose ever tweeted Larry Merchant after any of his disrespectful post fight interviews. Of which there were many.

                He's often incorrect.

People are (rightfully) giving him **** about it because shooting a wad in your pants while gleefully exclaiming to your network's house fighter that "you could beat the hell out of a lot of guys!" is not exactly the hallmark of a professional broadcaster.

Max further compounded this by, instead of just showing Adrien the replays of the two knockdowns and asking him for a comment, he instead opted to go the fanboy route of "we could play some knockdowns, I guess, if you want....but there were so many of them and you beat the hell out of him!"

I expect that type of shameless deep throating of a fighter by NSB users. Not supposedly professional sports broadcasters who get paid a healthy annual salary to provide 'expert analysis' of a fight for the premiere premium cable network in the sport.

Kellerman's "encyclopedic knowledge" is vastly overblown by people who are either fans of his or are friendly with him.

Infact, he's exposed himself as nothing more than a modern fanboy on multiple occasions on-air. I just wish somebody would take the time to make a video of his blunders for our amusement.

The Hopkins/Calzaghe fight springs to mind - When Max erroneously stated that Calzaghe had been floored in the first round against Eubank and got up to win that fight, as well. When, in fact, it was Eubank whom Calzaghe floored in the first round.

                    Nobody corrected him.

                    Some historian.

Finally somebody got it right. I'm sick of these guys setting up fights. Its a disgrace.

No doubt, I was a little shocked at the way Max joined AB in the celebration. Should have handled it better. All I all he's alright.

But for you folks to be mentioning Merchant with his bias disrespectful ass is crazy. If you want an analyst to respect fighters Merchant is always a bad start. I just hope Broner keeps winning at this point just to piss off the world while Max interviews him.
