Cotto response to Sergio Martinez

    Been saying Canelo beats Cotto for a while now.

    Actually, like I said before, if Martinez comes in fighting like he did against Barker, Macklin and Chavez Jr; Canelo knocks him out. The guys power is no joke, and his handspeed is underrated.

    I know a lot of people hate him, but he fights like a 28 year old prime fighter instead of a 22 year old green fighter[which is what he currently is]. Sure he is a paper champion, but he is a very good paper champion. It sucks he won his belt against Matthew Hatton, people hold that against him. But next year Canelo is going to blow up, he's going to start fighting the big names and he's gonna f-ck them all up, watch.

      Im so tired of the "scared" label fans try and perpetuate ( I dont even blame the fighters because I get the taunt) but the dumb fans who ride with it (SPARE ME!)..

      Even fighters that I am not partial to I know they are not scared...its about MONEY and weights(basically).....then glove size, ring size, venues etc. But fear!? cmon....You people have followed Pacs people into a pit...the dumb pit.

      Fear is either a taunt or an excuse to hide something.

            I don't think Molina or Vanes rank above Trout. Trout is a better fighter than those two. Especially Vanes.

            Trout is actually a fight that Cotto could lose, while I can see Cotto beating Molina, Vanes, K9.

            Risky fight for Cotto, nothing to hate about that fight at all. The only thing ot hate about it is that it may ruin a possible Canelo-Cotto fight for Cinco De Mayo week, that I would definitely buy alone with no undercard. I would not pay for Canelo-Trout, unless the undercard was stacked with 3-4 other good match-ups.

                  After November 10th, people will stop mentioning Vanes and his non-existent resume. Coming off one of the weakest resume in his last 10 fights, for a top 10 fighter. Troy Lowry, Richard Gutierrez, Saul Roman, Bladimir Hernandez, Joe Greene, let me stop. BRB, I have to go vomit.

                      hoosing Trout makes sense for him for two reasons. First, his BS title. For some fighters that BS is important. That gives Cotto leverage for negotiation with GBP and Canelo. Now that Cotto dont have the financing of TR and their guarantee, he needs leverage. But some idiots around here cant see that.

                      Second reason in choosing Trout is that the guy is a taller, rangier southpaw. He dont fight like Sergio, but those are Sergio attribute if a fights get done. Why is it hard for anyone to understand or see that is beyond me. Damn the only real threat he never faced was Paul Williams, the rest he faced. Some of you haters need to stop your ridiculous claims of him choosing easier path.
