I truly like Sergio, but I think this fight might be harder than what people are expecting. The weight difference will play a big part in this fight. If Chavez come in great shape like he did with Lee and pound Sergio's body, it could be a long night for the older fighter. I see Sergio dominating the early rounds. By round 7, Chavez will start imposing his size on him and ****ing that body. From that point on, this fight will become brutal. Sergio will get hurt in this fight, but with his championship experience, he will know how to be patient and avoid getting KO'd. I think Sergio will outbox Chavez in 11 and 12 to squeak out a close r fisplit decision. It will be a war and blood will be spilled. This by no means will be an easy fight for either guy.

I think JCC Jr will pull out the upset, he is huge next to sergio and sergio really struggled with lesser fighters than Chavez in his last two fights. He scored come from behind knockouts but he cant expect that when chavez has a good chin and is 180 pounds on fight night. If freddy roach gets chavez to pull off a high guard like barker did and martinez cant land he is ****ed.

Thats why I laugh when people say Pavlik doesnt have it. he was weight drained and drunk when he fought Martinez and that was Martinez's hardest fight of his career.

Chavez would be an underdog to Barker and Macklin. Theres a reason Chavez has chosen to fight lesser boxers over a Macklin or a Barker. He had a decent performance over a good boxer in Lee. But lets not get too excited. Lee has no speed no power and stood directly in front of him the entire fight. The exact reason they took the fight. Martinez could have fought Lee as well and chose to fight much tougher opponents only because Chavez was able to weasle out of the mandatory. Martinez by KO. Chavez will complain of leg cramps and Martinez will massage them with left hooks to the body, head and any where else fat boy wants it.

False. He'd been knocked down numerous times prior to the Martinez fight.

Darren Barker had only ever fought above Domestic level once and that single time he looked average.

Might be getting him confused with that other no name martinez fought, but still Barker is a slick guy...he has some good movement, and Sergio messed the guy up for making him face adversity...which is the part u should have responded to, cuz it was the main point!!

Thats my point...Sergio is one of those true champions, where if Chavez DOES do something to him, it will Push Sergio to the next lvl, didnt u read my comment?..When has chavez faced adversity?
