Someone comparing both at 24-0 doesn't count because that assumes Ward goes on to do great after 35 years of age. And saying that we should not compare Ward to Cal before Ward reaches his prime can work both ways because it is possible someone could beat Ward and then that can take away the Ward Luster in a comparison, depending on how Ward loses.

Calzaghe was faster but Ward is physically stronger. "IF" Cal wins it would not come down to him being stronger and more powerful. It would be one hellava fight that's for sure.

I think Cal has one of the most padded resumes in boxing and I class him in the Ottke category , what Ward achieved in winning this series at this point in his career has more merit than what Cal achieved in his entire career , fighting Bhop and Jones when they were way passed their best didnt do it for me , other than them and kessler nobody else is there , Eubanks was shot to **** and making a comeback , I think Cals Kessler win was his careers best .
