I watched this fight live, and, as a neutral, I might add.

          I scored the fight thus:

          1. Pacquiao
          2. Marquez
          3. Marquez
          4. Marquez
          5. Marquez
Pacquiao was a little busier in the first, but Marquez settled into his groove and was using beautiful lateral movement to neutralize Pac's left while countering with the right again and again, while occasionally leading to Pac's body.
          6. Pacquiao
Pacquiao rallies and picks up the pace.
          7. Marquez
          8. Marquez
Marquez regained composure and more of the same from 2-5.
          9. Pacquiao
Pacquiao again picks up the pace and Marquez takes a couple of chances but got ever so slightly outlanded in the exchanges.
          10. Pacqiao (I'm being generous now, looking for any more rounds for Pac)
          11. Marquez
          12. Pacquiao (Again being generous because both men flurried and missed a lot)
I had it 115-113 to Marquez, and that's really looking for rounds to give to Pacquiao. Marquez dictated the pace mostly, made Pacquiao miss and lunge wildly as he did in the their previous fight. Marquez landed the cleaner, crisper punches and didn't get caught with anything huge like he normally does. Pacquiao showed spurts of his usual energy, but was clearly frustrated by a guy that wouldn't co-operate by kindly standing still while he punched him at will. Pacquiao clearly had the look of a beaten man at the end of the fight. I thought it was a poor decision by the judges. 116-112 for Pacquiao was utter nonsense. Going forwards without being effective shouldn't win you rounds. And punch stats alone don't tell the whole story of a fight. As previously pointed out, Marquez out landed Pac in their previous fight and didnt win. This time, Marquez didn't get knocked down to lose unnecessary points, boxed smart and clinically. I had him winning a close but clear decision.

I expect MANY MANY MANY people to jump ship and agree that Mayweather will put a BAD hurtin on Pac.
            I agree....

I don't think Floyd stops Manny.

Manny admits to getting hurt a few times like against Margarito, some big thudding body punches.

He keeps going. I can't see Floyd landing that brutally or being active enough to TKO. Manny will lose a decision, but he'll go down fighting.

It was a beautiful fight, it could've gone either way just like the first 2. both fighters were even better than before.. i loved it!

There's a difference between Marquez and Mayweather in how they handle pressure, Marquez stays calm and adapts, he'll take some shots and give some back. Mayweather is less better in adapting to pressure, in my opinion. the part where Ortiz landed his headbutt, was in a great flurry where Mayweather was put in his reverse.

but i still see Mayweather winning, just not as an easy fight as people think.

Mayweather won't KO Pac, he will stay in his envelope and outjab Pac and stun Pac all night with flush, perfectly timed right hands, some Pac will walk RIGHT into. The problem is the biggest fight in ages won't be great. It will be a surgeon-like performance with Mayweather's brilliance nullifying Pac and thats coming from a Pac fan. You would get more from Vernon Paris vs Mike Alvarado or Gamboa vs Rios.

Floyd would Knock out Pacquiao, if he performed the same way in the JMM 3 fight. Did you notice how many time Manny kept adjusting his shorts during the bout? Perfect sucker punch opportunity for Floyd.
