Cortez says "Lets go" with the same gesture throught the fight. It's funny that Mayweather gets all the flack for this but, Ortiz was trying to do a lot of dirty tactics himself. Jim Lampley applauded floyd for using the protect yourself at all times rule in against Gatti and I believe against Mosely but, he doesnt now? I think a lot of people were just disappointed the fight didnt last longer and influenced more by what the commentators and people that didn't go back and really look at the whole fight objectively. Ortiz understood "Let's go" before the point deduction. He didn't want to fight that's all it is to it. Fighting wasn't on the young man's mind anymore. Those that point the finger at Mayweather with trashy comments use the same energy with Ortiz. He deserves it just as much.

The fight was ruled a knockout because Cortez had too big of an ego to admit he ****ed up during the fight. Period.
