You cowardly accept the apology when you're really not down with it ONLY so you could trick your opponent into keeping his guard low... Floyd had to lie & use deception so Ortiz could put his guard down.. He knows if he rejects the apology...chances are ortiz wouldn't be looking away thinking everything's cool or at least simmered down.. Do what you just did.. when the opponent is in defensive posture>> & not in the processs of instantaneously backing away.... see Floyd had the advantage there.... he had it mapped out in his head as to what he was going to do after Ortiz was backing away from him.

.. Ortiz couldn't protect himself at all times... because at that moment there was nothing to protect.. they hadn't begun boxing yet... remember it's Ortiz that put himself out of position.. let his guard down by once again apologizing... you took advantage of that by intentionally using deception... intentionally lying so your opponent doesn't know what's coming.... that's a coward......why didn't Floyd try to ko him as he was nearing him to touch gloves? He could've cold ****ed him also as he was nearing to touch gloves... it STILL would've been an ambush if the same result happened.... but it would've been without the trick of deceipt...

HE HAD TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE APOLOGY FOR THE OPERATION TO TAKE PLACE.. without acknowledgment... Ortiz doesn't go back with his guard down... he'll have known Floyd is hostile & the difference being he would've been alert & looking at him if he had thought the apology was not accepted.. he went to great lengths to convey that apology (he wanted Floyd's approval as he knows he's not on the same level as him).. so to him once he perceived he somewhat got it.. he could go back to where they left off before the headbutt but Floyd didn't give him that chance as he clearly was still seeting about it & hit the lottery to strike as his opponent gave the cowardly payback he was seeking... instead of waiting to exact revenge when they were actually fighting & not on break or time out
