Comments Thread For: Victor Ortiz: No Respect For Mayweather, His Time To Go

WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, and his manager Rolando Arrellano, are not concerned with anything related to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Ortiz defends his belt against Mayweather on September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There has been a lot of focus made on Mayweather's abilities after a layoff of 16-months. The Las Vegas boxer was last seen in the ring on May 1, 2010, when he dominated Shane Mosley over twelve rounds.

I like Ortiz but the only thing he's got goin for him in this fight is that he's much stronger at Welter than he was previously.

If he can wop Floyd like Shane did in round 2 of their fight AND actually follow it up then it would be a great upset. Other than that he's made for Floyd and will get eaten alive.

Golden Boy are trying to turn boxing into the WWE. Does Ortiz think anyone is ****** enough to believe that contrived bull****?

I'll be glad when the fight concludes because Ortiz has came off fake as hell in the promotion. I don't know who is advising Ortiz but they are going about it the wrong way.
