Arthur Abraham doesn't have a chance in hell to beat Andre Ward, maybe a puncher's chance. I don't think he could win even if there was a German referee and German judges. AA and Sauderland should get what they want. Andre was able to do what he wanted in the ring with Kessler. It was an ugly fight in which Kessler was held, headbutted and wrestled and the ref didn't do anything about it. Ward is a horrible fighter to watch. Give him his props he does what it takes to win because he is the most protected fighter in boxing.

wow, that's messed up. can't believe this fight is being called off due to a ref. how hard is it to get a ref that isn't american or german? if they agreed on the officials being neutral, then what's so hard about going through with that? seems fair.....what a ****** reason for a fight to be put on hold...

Sauerland got the refs and judges they wanted. They are just making up excuses!

So Wilfried the excuse making machine turns out to be lying again. What a surprise.

He sucks, he's a spoiled baby, just like his son, Abraham and Kessler.

None of them take responsibility for their failures, their sense of entitlement forged by years of taking on mismatched Euro bum opponents in easy fights leads them to believe that everything should be easy. When it doesn't go their way it's someone elses fault for stacking the deck and bending the rules.

It's no surprise they are so paranoid about having it done to them as they have made a career of ripping off fighters who are unlucky enough to get matched against a Sauerland charge.

I think German fighters should be restricted to the amateurs until their skills level increases.

There really aren't any German fighters in Germany aside from Jurgen Braehmer.

All the rest are imports. When a real German gets in the ring he usually gets his ass kicked from pillar to post.

It's kinda like the way the Canadians latch onto Bute and Pascal because when a real Canadian, like Steve Molitor, David Lemieux or Eric Lucas steps onto the world stage they get their faces smashed in.

ward and his promoter are c*nts,no way is he winninghe doesnt deserve anything with his easy route to the finals,abraham or froch will KO this fool.

Abraham shouldnt need ref for decision anyway,if abraham does win,its not by decision,its clearly going to be ko/tko/stoppage,i do suppose they will try rob him that way still though!.

He probably fears the refs decision on any possible cuts.

The point is, the judges will not be an issue in that fight, I would be far more concerned about the ref if I was Sauerland.

They need a ref that will not allow Ward to hold, and will firmly control the inside action. If Ward goes unchecked, he will have his way with Abraham.
