I found the compubox numbers to be exaggerated so I picked a random round to analyze. I downloaded an HD 60fps version of the fight and I watched the round in extremely slow motion (please put the jokes aside). When it looked like a punch landed, I watched it frame by frame to make sure it did.
Here are the results of every punch landed with a short description of the punch. Only kept tract of the punches landed. Don't care about thrown.
2:32 Bradley body punch
2:32 Bradly body Punch
2:16 Bradley jab
1:59 Pacquia right hook
1:46 Bradley right
1:43 Bradley left
1:38 Bradley jab
1:37 Bradly grazing right hook
1:29 Braldey southpaw left
1:29 Bradley right
1:21 Bradley jab
1:19 Bradley jab
0:59 Bradley jab
0:43 Bradley jab
0:36 Pacquiao right hook
0:33 Pacquiao right hook
0:22 Pacquiao right hook
0:14 Pacquiao left hook
0:12 Bradley right hook
0:12 Pacquiao right hook
0:10 Pacquiao left hook
0:10 Pacquiao right hook
0:01 Pacquia straight left
0:01 Bradley body shot
0:01 Bradlye body shot
In the end, Pacquiao landed 9 punches and Bradley landed 16. There were a few punches that were hard to call, but this is about right. Notice that Pacquiao only landed 1 punch in the first 2 minutes and 24 seconds of the fight. The punches landed after came from a flurry that didn't really land that cleanly. Bradley actually landed the cleaner punches in this round surprisingly. This is actually a pretty clear round that should go to Bradley after close scrutiny. Compubox somehow got 22 punches for Pac and 8 for Bradley. So yeah, lets stop paying attention to compubox numbers.
Er...
You are blind.
At 2:19 Pacquiao lands a jab on the side of Bradley's face
At 2:09 Pacquiao lands a jab, then a right hook, then a left (how clean the left lands is not clear, but it at least comes off the forehead)
Those were Pacquiao's first meaningful shots of the round. I'm not sure I can be bothered to track the entire round if you miss the first shots he throws.
didnt say he did
but as other said
he teaches most other judges
his way of thinkin/judgin influenced those types of decisions
lemme put it simple
hes a puppet
he can twist his words to try n make it seem like anyone won
but in the end
only the people that are always there in these fights win
whether the decision goes to one fighter or the other
one style or the other
one race or the other
the judges commisions n promoters
they win big $$$$$$$
So some flo-mo*s has morphed to Pac tards? I've seen all kind of fans even those at both ends of the spectrum calling it a very very horrible scoring.
It's true though Bradley got the belt but majority of those who watched the fight thinks otherwise, guess a lot got converted into a pac tard...pity, just when i started to dislike Pac now.
Bradley did absolutely NOTHING. NOTHING. I watched it 3 more times just to make sure. I cant give points to people who dont land cleanly, dont land the more effective power punches and looked like they were backing off when they couldnt handle the heat.
I thought Bradley's movement would give Manny trouble. It didnt. I thought Manny's defense was pretty good also - by his standards.
Manny should just retire from boxing and not reward a loser like Bradley with more money he doesnt deserve.
I'd like to see Bradley vs. Khan next.
I agree strongly with everything you said.
Bradley vs. Khan is no risk for Khan because Bradley wont be able to hit that somewhat soft jaw of Khan's hard enough to hurt him, but he would still make it very competetive and I think it would be decent to watch. I think Khan's speed and power advantages would be too much, and a very similar outcome to the Pacquiao fight with Khan possibly stopping Bradley.
I wish Pac would fight someone else like Ortiz rather than a rematch since he won so clearly, but it will def happen anyways

Pac vs Ortiz would be pretty good in my opinion though I think they would ask for a catch weight. Ortiz has blown up to 154 and probably can be a MW if he wanted to.
