Yeah thats why most people say clottey won the fight. he was walking cotto down with a tight defense and hitting cotto with lead rights.What u think floyd gone do?go watch the fight.He should have lost.Floyd on another level than Clottey.Faster, smarter and Knife sharp counters and much better defense.

Not me. IMO, this fight is much more impressive than the Pacman fight. This fight is at 154lbs where Cotto is much more comfortable than 144lbs. He was definately drained for the Pacman fight.

He moved up from 140lbs because he could not make weight. At 144lbs he was drained for sure

Firstly, the catch-weight was a 145. Also, Cotto had come in 146 the previous fight, and said himself at the time he had no issues making the weight.

Also, it is interesting how Manny is criticised for making Cotto come down, but is expected himself to come down for Marquez. So in essence, they wanted him to fight Cotto at 47, but fight JMM at 40. He's expected to fight everyone at their best weight but not one which suits himself? (which would probably be 144). FWIW, the CW was a silly idea, cos it has just allowed people to discredit a fantastic win.

Oh and no, it won't be a better win than Pac's. Not only cos I doubt Floyd puts a beating on Miguel like Pac - but Miguel had only come off one loss when he fought Manny. That was a fresher Cotto.

Honestly it's very similar to what Wlad is doing... IN BEFORE "the division as at its lowest"...

Floyd beats quality competition and makes it look way too easy and in the end gets little credit for it.

Same with Wlad...He knocks out undefeated, solid guys yet gets no credit...

Its not exactly an accurate comparison but it gets the point across...

But to me personally I still like watching Mayweather do what he does...I mean this is what boxing is...I dont want drama, I want to see a boxing match, and May is the best out there at giving you a boxing lesson.

Different defense.

Pac had zero issues with Clottey (The supposed great defense)

And had crazy issues getting to Marquez.

Some people have issues with fighting the shell.

Doesn't mean that can't do better than vs other defenses.

Cotto vs mayweather: an astrological look

I see this fight playing out one way.

Miguel Cotto is a strong fighter however, The amount of water he has in his natal chart( emotions,receptivity) is too great for him to overcome the guile of Floyd. He is a Sun Scorpio, Moon Cancer (strong attachment to family, home, and mother) , Mercury Scorpio. The amount of water just indicates he can simply become impatient and thrown off track easily if things dont go his way. His Mars in Sagittarius gives him a strong fighting spirit but since that sign is a mutable sign the energy level is erratic.

The lack of air and earth in Miguel's Chart means he is emotionally engaged in fighting, not a thinking fighter.

Zab Judah is similar in that he has a water sun and fire mars, emotionally engaged in fights but not a thinking fighter. Look at the fight between floyd and Jab and it will give you some indication of how this fight will turn out.



Now for floyd, although he is a pisces sun, most of his chart is air and earth with fire mixed in there. Earth and Air are the thinking elements, they are left brained, analytical, calculating , rational and so on. Floyd can very easily keep an even keel temper wise. Because he has his Mars in an air sign(aquarius) the only problem I see floyd having is workrate. Air signs are mental and Mars is the planet of passion, action, battle, aggression. So Air is kind of out of place there. Most of the energy of a Mars in air person is spent mentally, either talking, socializing, writing,analyzing etc. They do not have long enduring physical energy.

So with that said. I believe Floyd will focus strategically on opening scar tissue on one of Miguels eyes to throw him off emotionally which will disengage him from his game plan. Unfortunately due to Miguels emotional nature this is not very hard to do. It doesn't mean Miguel will quit, it means he will take emotional actions as opposed to calculated , rational actions. Emotional responses from fighters is what Floyd feeds on. Just look at his resume . How many guys simply became flustered by his sharp skills and they simply lost composure.

This is what I see happening tonight. Floyd by TKO in the later rounds.

Yeah im sure he's healthier after the beating Pacquiao gave him. That makes perfect sense.
