Im past this fight and not even hyped for it anymore.rather see him fight cotto then unify with canelo for the ring title then fight martinez for the lineal bet at 160.that would add 3 belts and 2 more lineal titles to his resume

I don't think anyone is hyped anymore. Most if not nearly all boxing fans understand just how badly Pac would get embarrassed by Mayweather and really nobody wants to see that. At the end of the day this was why Bob has never allowed Mayweather to fight any of his fighters. Bob who has been in the game for decades understands. However I think he will let Pac fight Floyd right before he retires...

Also Floyd has fought and beat more lineal and current champions than
Pacquiao, his reign of supremacy is twice as long as Pacquiao's, and
he's never lost. Floyd also dismantled and shut down the last known
fighter (JMM) to give Pacquiao a lot problems (for a 3rd time) to say the least. If Mayweather beats Cotto and Alvarez then moves up once again and beats Martinez, nobody will even remember who Pac is or his little run at WW when Floyd was "retired". The fact is, Pac has accomplished absolutely nothing since beating Cotto at 145lbs.

In the end, everyone knew Pac was always in the shadow of Mayweather and that has been Bob Arum's intent. He has made a lot of money this way. He will continue to until he is ready to cash out/let Pac retire. At least Cotto is allowed the opportunity to fight the very best. Maybe Pac will one day.
