I hope he low blows floyd if floyd uses those elbows. knowing cotto he might very well do if the ref doesn't do anything about it.

keep his cool, he better worry about all those feints, cottos reflexes are just not up to par, he wont do anything dirty to floyd because of the mutual respect factor. i just want to see cotto finish the fight, but im not sure his cardio will hold up.

I think Cotto will keep his composure. Not just in the case of Mayweather fouling him, but including if Cotto isn't able to get anything through early. That is what happens with most Mayweather opponents, nothing works early, they get frustrated and make Floyd's job easier for him by ******ly lunging and swinging away at him. Not going to happen with Cotto IMO. If Mayweather's going to win, he's going to need to earn every round of it.

Pacquiao took Cotto's jab away countering over it with his right hook....Floyd is longer, faster with a single punch, and is a better counter puncher especially with that right hand.
Cotto's jab will not be much of a factor in the second half of the fight.

Cotto can box and can bully people, and his offense isn't as good as Manny's and his defense isn't as good as Floyds. But, I think Cotto's boxing/countering ability is better than Floyd offensively. I'm sure you'll call me crazy but when exactly was Floyd "boxed" with? Marquez? He was the smaller, slower and weaker fighter who is intensely one dimensional. Floyd is far more versatile than Marqez and Cotto, but he simply isn't nearly as good as "aggressively" as Cotto is at countering.
What if Cotto lands jabs like Oscar did? I'm sure he will he has a better jab, but all these people saying Cotto has to be aggressive are just wrong. Floyd is undefeated, LARGELY against pressure fighters. His biggest "struggles" were with Oscar and Castillo, to a small extent Judah. Most them did their best when they were boxing more so than just bullying like Hatton and Ortiz. What if Cotto jabs and bounces around "admiring it" if you will. Floyd can't counter someone who isn't coming at him. As I said JMM couldn't do this not because he doesn't have the ability but because he was just way too small. Cotto is going to be the bigger man and probably faster than Marquez was for Mayweather.
I'm not saying Cotto is going to win by just jabbing and moving, he'll have to counter if Floyd DOES open himself up a bit if he needs to get some "points" if you will. Cotto IS going to have put pressure on Floyd and take clean shots to the grill simply because one strategy isn't enough to beat Floyd. You beat your opponents by exploiting their biggest weakness and fighting offensively is Floyd's weak point that Cotto is going to have to exploit. All that being said I'm still picking Mayweather because I never pick against him. BUT at 4-1 I'm putting $100 on Cotto and think him winning is like 60/40 split for Floyd.
Mayweather by UD, bet your house on it.

So weird seeing Miguel take on an elite boxer. We've never seen him in a situation where he's been outboxed or frustrated to that extent so who can honestly say? I think he'll keep pressing forwards like a small tank/bully style, he has to get inside with his stubby little arms and force May back.. Floyd has power but I don't believe he can rock Cotto. No doubt if Mayweather wins, he's going to feel sore in the morning. Cotto will bring his bag of tricks and surprise Floyd with versatility. I have faith in Diaz to whip his guy into shape for the most important fight of his career.
lol @ the inevitable "Dat motha****a don't know shyt Floyd, he just keep coming forward" If Cotto can weather the storm, and take Floyd's best shots I can see Roger getting concerned as his fighter gets lumped round after round. Has Floyd ever faced a boxer/puncher like Miguel? It goes both ways. Pray that Mayweather doesn't get cursed with injury as is the case in numerous Cotto fights..
Margarito2-/tko damaged eye, Mayorga-tko injured hand, Foreman-tko Leg gave out, Gianluca Branco-tko shoulder injury/retired after, Malinaggi-broken jaw/fractured orbital bone, Muhammad Abdullaev-tko right eye swelling, Carlos Maussa-tko right eye damage etc.. we all know pbf has brittle hands, after all. Most punches are going to be landing on Floyd's arms which might wear him down and cause him to lower his guard. Cotto's exquisite timing with the jab and proficiency with the left hook to the body are sure to help him win rounds.
OR worst case scenario, Floyd getting DQ'ed after tainting his infamous rep with elbows, sucker punches(seen em in ortiz fight, gatti fight, mosley fight, etc.) Wouldn't that suck? Cotto knows how to bait fighters in towards the ropes and work off his backfoot when he wants to box and that can also present a problem for Floyd who is used to fighters engaging him in the center of the ring where he feels most comfortable. Make no mistake about it. This is no cakewalk for either man.
