You're a real dense one, if Cotto was still a TopRank fighter, Mayweather - Cotto would not be happening. He'd instead be fighting Pacquiao making a lot less money AND fighting at 148lbs for the 154lb belt!

on a side note how is cotto rated #1 at 154. i like the guy but this makes no sense at all to me. he beat foreman who was rated 5th or 6th if i remember and unranked mayorga and margarito. how does this get you the number 1 ranking? seems like he only is because hes the most popular fighter just like canelo is number 2 also with a subpar resume. bundrage has a much better resume and he's 8th? makes no sense. kirkland just destroyed the number 2 fighter and hes 6th yet vanes is 3rd? makes no sense. shouldn't your ranking be based on accomplishments not fantasy nonsense? will the ring move chavez jr up to number 1 because he sold out the alamodome?popularity doens't mean you are the best otherwise is tyson still the best heavyweight in the world? i saw him in the hangover so he must be the best. he hasn't beaten anyone ranked in years but either has cotto so why not?

Cotto sadly ain't elite anymore.. And while Floyd is still fresh as a daisy.. Coz Floyd fights once a year and is still undamaged coz of his safety first boring style.while he waits and waits for them to get battle worn then bam! Lets fight Punk!
