ive heard about the drinking thing, not that he had a problem but that he was a drinker between fights. bunce has been saying it for years, leading up to the pacquiao fight (i think) he said of cottos drinking "he could drink ricky hatton under the table". thats some serious drinking.

as for evangelista cotto i think there was another incident other than the one you spoke off when they indeed got into it physicly, hard to imagine evangelista coming out on top in that scenario. not sure though.

the wife thing is news to me. i know cotto has more or less admitted to being a poor husband (or that he used to be), but beating your wife is a far stretch from being a poor husband. as i understood he meant he was abscent much of the time and didnt spend enough time with her and i assumed thats why he has his family with him in camp these days now that they are back together.

I don't recall at all of Cotto beating his wife. I think that's people just talking ****. I think it is common knowledge though that follow him that he has cheated but many upon many athletes do it. When he says he hasn't been a good husband it's basically for doing things that basically every athlete does. It comes with the territory.

I watched the replay on box nation off the computer my god first and only time I will watch from them. Unbelievably biased calling that fight. R they paid by mayweather promotions ???? They gave Miguel no credit and kept on saying this is the best Floyd look yet um Marquez fight or how bout the corrales fight ring a bell to them. Regardless Floyd won but they were awful!!!

Its unfair to say Coto is washed up, but you can understand why some people say it.. Floyd fans were quick to say it, just before Pac fought Cotto, so what explanation is there for the change of tune? I ask what explanation, yet know i wont be given one!

People will just have to give Pac the credit he deserves for the Cotto win, then i am sure people will give Floyd credit for barely scraping past Cotto. Dont mention the CW, because Cotto didnt use it as a excuse if he lost to Pac. Hes a grown man who makes his own decisions and wouldnt sign for a fight he didnt think he could do the business in. He expected to beat Pac just like he expected to beat Floyd.
