Records doesn't mean ****. All that matters is resume, which is what this thread is about.

    Holyfield beat the following fighters...

    Mike Tyson
    Rid**** Bowe
    George Foreman
    Larry Holmes
    Michael Moorer
    Ray Mercer
    Pinklon Thomas
    John Ruiz
    Michael Dokes
    Hasim Rahman

And this was at Heavyweight alone. Lets not forget Holyfield had several great wins at Crusier as well.

Holyfield's resume is the second best after Ali on that list. It's way way way way Better than Wlads resume.

If records was everything that mattered then JCC Jr and Sven Ottke would be ATG's. Only ******ed ass euros such as yourself bring up records.

This. And most if not all, of those guys are top 10 ATG HWs. Mighty fine company if you ask me. Wlad is already hard to exclude from a top 20 list and he's probably got at least a couple of good years left in him. Of course some people are so determined to discredit him that they have bring up a more than 12 year old loss.

Who was it that Holmes beat that was any good? Don't include Ali please, who was a shambling shell of a fighter with early Parkinson's when Holmes fought him. I do know Wlad would have KO'd all the guys Holmes only managed decisions on. Can only assume kids under 40, with no memory of Holmes' era, are voting here.

Lol, @ the poll results. Wlad has a great resume. Just because all of the names were never stars because the Klitschko's dominated them before they could make a name for themselves. We will see how this poll looks after Wlads career is over. It's not really a fair poll. Wlad is far from done.

Norton was an excellent fighter that Holmes beat.
also, being able to beat someone like Ray Mercer more one sidedly than Lennox Lewis when youre 42 years old is pretty impressive as well.

he has wins over Carl Williams, James Smith, Tim Witherspoon, Randall Cobb, Gerry Cooney, Ernie Shaversx2, Mike Weaver, Berbick, Spinks, Alfredo Evangelista, Ossie Ocassio, Lorenzo Zanan, and Leroy Jones, they were all around top ten when he beat them.

that being said, his division was NOT the best, and as I said before he sort of skipped out on fighting some of the best guys out there.

                      Is something funny?

Did you know that Wlad only faced 6 fighters with losing records?

Since facing Axel Shulz in 99, hes gone 28-2 with 16 title fight wins. You may have noticed that this is the 3rd most HW title fight wins of all time.

                      His wins include victories over:

                      Schulz when he mattered
                      Barrett when he mattered
                      Byrd x2 when he mattered
                      Botha when he mattered
                      Mercer first to stop him
                      McCline when he mattered
                      Peter while undefeated
                      Brock while undefeated
                      Ibragimov while undefeated
                      Chagaev while undefeated
Chambers coming off of two stellar wins

I would say that is a great resume and anyone who says otherwise has a lack of boxing knowledge.
