Degale really seem to be coming into his own at the moment and i wouldnt be shocked if he was challenging for a world title in the next 18 months, For someone who hasnt been through a 12 round fight yet he sure did manhandle smith, I have never seen smith look like that before...Kudos Degale.
    Smith was awful
I could have landed on him the amount of movement he showed
He was trying to catch DeGale's shots on his gloves, but forgetting that he is about 3 times slower than DeGale.

Any slick fighter would have dominated Smith last night
He'd do well against any he can get to, but movement & speed and he'd struggle like most British fighters.

He really impressed me last night. Still hope Groves beats him like.

I can't see DeGale getting passed European level tbh.
i like brook but everytime he fight he leaves his chin hanging out and hes had over 20 fights now,hes got very good power but i see him having alot of trouble when he steps up in comp

i do like cleverly and i see him becoming a good champion.

i still think degale will do well but i wouldnt argue about brook or cleverly being ahead of him

groves keeps his hands too low and degale would be too quick for him

i see it being a easy fight for degale

Just finished watching this fight half assed while skimming through the board. This is my first time watching DeGale. He's a decent fighter, didn't see anything that impressed me much.

Smith had him trapped on the ropes several times and did nothing
Can't see DeGale's power holding up against better opposition, and he may be slick but he's not elusive.

I have DeGale winning it as well, but I HOPE Groves beats him. DeGale just comes across as a bit of a twat.

Degale is ****y which aint always pleasing, but dunno why people get so upset by it... that Tony Bellew, now there is an obnoxious lad for you. Did anyone catch him shouting something along the lines of "Im the mutha ****ing best" at the camera at the end of his fight. Dubious stoppage that in the Bellew fight n all.

Degale impressed me last night, hope him and groves get it on in the new year. I have Degale winning based on last night and Groves last outing

Cleverly looked lost last night and very dejected, the lad just needs to learn from it & I look forward to seeing brook with a bigger challenge next time out.

All in all well worth the 15 quid. Haye was watching it all hope he learns thats the sort of thing peopl pay for when thrashing out a deal for his nxt title defence
