Dude..........Floyd stomped Pac in the mental stakes......his strategy was superb....he accepted all of team Pacs terms without batting an eyelid and threw his own in and watched team Pac self destruct......their incoherent and incohesive arguments as to why they needed a 30 day cut-off has at least 50% of boxing fans even questioning wether Pac is clean....to top it off he pissed Pac off to the point of him filing a lawsuit.......

Round 1 is a 10-8 rd for Floyd

However so far choosing Clottey rd 2 is also a 10-8 rd for Pac

But Floyd knows this is chess, not checkers......if he takes a fight with Mosley after March Pac will be down and out for the count.....a Floyd vs Mosley PPV would do over 1 mil....i say 1.25 - 1.5....i see Pac vs Clottey doing 800,000 thousand.....

I remember when McGwire and Sosa were thrilling the baseball world with their homerun exhibitions. During those times there were as small contingency of people who suspected these guys of using some sort of performance enhancers. But the vast majority didn't want to believe it or just simply didn't care because we as fans loved to be entertained like monkeys.

Now we live in a world where even high school students dabble with PED's. It's widespread. In this day in age anyone could be juicin', and I mean anyone. And that's unfortunate because any athlete who is even remotely suspected today has to live with the pressure to prove themselves.

Pacquiao failed miserably with these PED accusations. Refusing to take "randomized blood tests" made him think that by simply refusing to take the proposed tests and filing a defamation lawsuit will make fans believe he's innocent when in fact it made the situation even worst. Maybe it was his pride and not wanting to give in to Floyd's "ridiculous" demands. But in this fight he had everything going for him. If it was a number of issues that were preventing the fight other than the drug tests then I would understand. But this fight was soley not made because of the drug test proposal.

Manny may be innocent and we are unjustly suspecting him now. But in today's world, that is something you can not avoid and you need to live with. Manny could have took one for the home team and agreed to the tests. But in my opinion he doesn't understand how grave the PED issue is in this country and how his refusal will affect him forever.

Either way if Floyd takes Campbell....... and Mosley later on PAc will lose round 3 and leverage if the fight takes place later.
pac-pbf at the latest will still be scheduled 2010

        pbf-campbell
        pbf-mosley
        pbf-pac

you actually think floyd will fight 3 times in a year? not to mention 2 very tough fights back to back?

I'm not sure if I'm reading you right man. You have a point but I agree with Crold. I'm a huge pac fan but will acknowledged that Pbf won that round ... by KD due to illegal low blow with intentional headbutt. They could have made a proper request for additional testing but they have to do it through the media.

cliff rold.....you are over the cliff!!
what rd 1, floyd 10-9 are you hissing about??
rd 1 to manny for the law suit.
the choice of bradly wins rd 2 for floyd??!
                im with you.....******!!

and floyd will fyt jww tim at WW(147)....plus all the tests floyd will dictate.
but chances are....from the histogram of floyd's fyts, he will choose soupy nate.
as mike marley's analysis showed, soupy passed 5 of 6 criteria of floyd and gbp.
only hbo stands on the way!!

Nobody won, the fans lost, the fighters lost a big payday and now rumors of PED usage is tainting this whole thing. Now we are gonna get two PPV fights the same night against fighters we don't want to see.

The public wants a Pac/Floyd fight anything else is a let down. I still thing that it will happen in the fall, its just simply too much money for it not to happen

I don't care who wins round two (although I'd prefer Floyd to choose an exciting opponent as well), but I think we'll have a nice round three (aka them two finally fighting) probably even this year. And the build-up will be massive even though they pissed us off quite a few times in the meantime.

                      Floyd won round one?

                      lulz

He lost a payday. He and his dad are staring at a lawsuit.

GBP also has one lawsuit and another coming their way for conflict of interest. They stand to lose whatever little share they have in Pac's earnings.

                      Round 2:

                      Pac-Clottey
                      Vs
                      Floyd-Campbell

                      Floyd takes the knee.
