In a debate, generally it really matters on the topic. Being a good debater also does include being biased on certain subject. If your not, basically you giving in to the other person's view point, and that means you lose on that debate. But if the facts is so overwhelming, you just have to accept defeat. It doesnt mean you was wrong, it just means the other person gave a much better argument.

here's a disclosure about my posting style Xplosivo, i only reciprocate what other posters throw out there...

if a poster comes in with well thought out views and does it in a respectful, positive manner, then i address that person with that same approach

if a poster comes in as a troll, as you have in the past, then i address you as a troll...its that simple...im not wasting any effort on people that wouldn't understand anyway

i put u on ignore ages ago, when you were a troll most of the time, i blocked all trolls because of their constant ****riding for 1 fighter, that includes pacquiao, mayweather, klitschko, calzaghe fans because im here to talk boxing, not about one boxer.

the thing is i just gave up against nuthugging trolls, there is no point wasting time on them since they will only say what will favour the fighter they nuthug. sometimes you can say things that make sense so i just view your comment, lately you actually have improved as a poster compared to before, not as bad as burner, Horus, tunney, Perro, samurai etc. anymore

it depends on who im having a discussion with...if its a poster with no agendas and they want to have a serious discussion about PAC, i can be objective...i have in the past and i do it from time to time...its not in my DNA to be a cheerleader 24/7....even with my perfect-looking lakers, i can still rattle off about 5-10 things that need to be corrected...or name a couple of teams that could give us a serious series


same with PAC, there's just so much smut being thrown in this site that you get to the point of 'why bother'....trolls get doused with homerism...that's how it goes...its rare to stumble upon a legit discussion BUT, i will say, there are posters on this site where you CAN have those...you just have to know which ones

How is that any different? Some people with biased points of view will continue to "just make up anything for the sake of it", just so they can with their side.

Whereas, a devil's advocate has no emotional stake in actual sides, though they do tend to dig their feet in on actually arguing and not really sharing ideas, I agree there, because the exercise is them trying to win from a logical position where it is difficult to win.

But biased debaters can be just as tiresome, because they've already drawn their line in the sand.. There's not much exchange of ideas

i dont think your a bad poster EXCEPT when it comes to the topic of pacquiao, unless you just *** around sometimes, because I do that sometimes just to piss some posters off because of their constant nuthugging that annoys me.
