okay so what .. Dawson had bloody lips

he was hurt a lot more in the first fight vs Johnson and still won that fight.

*24 rounds complete I think it's safe to say Dawson can't crack Johnson and noticably hurt him

but that hasn't stopped Chad from being able to beat Johnson

but WTF are you talking about, the "IT" factor? You make yourself sound foolish saying stuff like that, I bet you can't even explain what you're talking about......
      The "IT" factor/quality;

Is the intangibles, charisma, chutzpah, mojo, star quality. It is immeasurable & cannot be learned.

Its what separates ordinary from extraordinary....

Its what separates batman from robin....

Its what separates a prom queen from the pretty girl.....

Mike Tyson & Muhammad Ali had "IT", Larry Homes & Lennox Lewis didnt....

Charles Barkley had "IT", Tim Duncan didnt.....

Michael Jackson had "IT", Jermaine & Tito didnt.....

Micheal Corleone had "IT", Fredo Corleone didnt...

      That is the "IT" factor.

Dawson is very talented and has mastered the fundamentals of boxing, he's gonna be a force in boxing for a long time kinda like B-Hop. I thought the fight showcased his command of the ring and boxing I.Q., Johnson is old but he's not a pushover.

          Agree.

Dawson is nothing special. He's got no heart.

Chad Dawson has fought much better opposition than James Kirkland but you can see right away that Kirkland has that "IT" quality. It's what stars are made of.

Drew Brees is a great quarterback, so is Tom Brady & Payton Manning.

            The difference?

Tom & Payton have the "IT"quality.

You either have the "IT" quality or you dont. Chad Dawson has great boxing skills & he might make it to the hall of fame but he doesnt have the "IT" quality.

As for the killer instinct, he doesnt have that either. If he had it, he would have put away his last 2 opponents, both 40 years of age.
Based on your post, the "it" quality seems to be a load of **** and completly based on your perception.

Explain the "IT" quality for me.

              Essentially complete bull****.
Define the it factor without using poor examples and irrelevant anecdotes.

People act as if Dawson should have stopped Johnson, but anyone with a brain knew Johnson's chin is too good and that Dawson would likely win a relatively close decision.
Instead, he completly dominated the fight.
And ****** fans with no clue still give him ****.

              Pathetic.

Johnson has been stopped ONCE against Hop and that stoppage was controversial. Like I said, anyone with HALF a brain knew this fight was going the distance.

Arturo Gatti has "IT", and so does SRL, Duran, Tyson, Tito, Oscar and now Pacman. They'll fill out a coliseum fighting a post.

If you get punched it the mouth. It's a chance you'll bleed, lol

You're my boy but come on. I also told you that this fight would be wide and boring coming from a Dawson fan.

I agree TS. I actually like Dawson and have been touting him since the Adamek fight, but he will not be a super star even if he keeps on winning. He doesn't have the style inside the ring or the bravado outside the ring.

Dawson should have at least turned up his punch output in the later rounds after he built his lead. He stunned Johnson a few times in the fight so a stoppage wasn't inconcievable.
