The 24/7 series isn't targeted for NSB posters. They already know the fighters and will buy the fight no matter what.

24/7 is targeted towards the casual/mainstream/non-fan.

A bit disheartening that you did not know that.
Gayweather 24 7 is targeted for the ***g0ts and *****s.

I personally thought the show was good. It wasn't incredible, but why does it have to be? Are people gonna look at this 24/7 and say, "Ehhh well, their communication skills aren't up to par...I'm not buying the fight". The general public know both guys and people know they're fighting. It's only Floyd's fans (ironically) who think because neither Pac or Cotto are these comical figures or aren't playing for the camera that the event is going to be a disaster. Remember, you're buying a fight...not a 45min sitcom.

The 24/7 series is meant to of course help promote a fight, but the idea that the 24/7 series (particularly this one) is being called boring thus it not being a big event is incredibly naive considering those same people who are mocking it are going to be buying the PPV anyway.

As I stated prior, it's a waste of your time (which you seem to have a lot of).

24/7 is a glorified commercial... it is obvious a 24/7 without pretty girl floyd would not please the ****sexual community (aka. *****s).

No, because Floyd Mayweather 24/7 are interesting but too bad its another story for the PPV fight

I said no, but people are lying if they say it doesn't influence them.

I was on the fence about ordering DLH-Pacquiao, and once 24/7 hit I was sold. Same thing with Mayweather-Marquez.

                Anyone else?

I guess it depends on the fight. Some fights it doesn't matter. For instance, you could've played 24/7's for two months before Marquez-Casamayor, and I still wouldn't have ordered it. Then with Pac-Cotto, if I never saw one advertisement, I would still order it.

**** no..... the main goal i see from 24/7 is for them to try and make all the fights look as close as possible... as if there is never a true favorite

I personally have never relied on 24/7 as the one thing that made the difference between me buying or not buying a PPV because the match up itself is what sells me the fight from the beginning. HBO did a fantastic job at promoting Mayweather vs Marquez mainly because it did have a plot and storyline for both guys, but not all fights need that hence why I make an example of Pac vs Cotto. People will assume nobody finds interest in the fight because there aren't any theatrics going on during the episodes, but being I'm constantly around a lot of casual Boxing fans I can say that both hardcore Boxing fans and casual fans are anticipating this fight.
