Fight sells itself. Why does it need this angry bald steroid abuser promoting it?

Turki and Dana are butting heads like Trump and Musk. Turki is a pompous, arrogant, dictator who know sheet about boxing except how to get ripped off by Hearn and Warren. Turki has been trying to get into the boxing league and has been told to kick rocks. Dana told Turki to take his camel and go F off.

I hope not , boxing doesn't need another dirtbag involved. There's nothing about Dana White that I like. The guy is a bonafide piece of shlt . Floyd Mayweather put the blueprint out there for fighters to promote their own events and make all of the money from the event instead of being employees of a promoter. I'll never understand why guys didn't take Floyds example and use it for themselves.

It does feel like promoters are becoming the last holdout of boxing legacy media. With streaming, NFTs and boxing becoming more event-focused it does feel like they should be redundant by now.

I suppose if we're going to be fair, there's still a question about how a rookie/prospect negotiates the early stages of his career. Does that really work without a multi-fight deal and can it be done without a promoter?

Same here. I refuse to put money in the pocket of anyone in that Cult. I've quit patronizing a few businesses , fired my lawn guy and chiropractor too.

The blueprint that Floyd put out there really only works when a fighter gets big enough to bankroll the promotion.
