Besides the knockdown innoue was in complete control of the fight. He tried hard but I don't see him as a top level guy.

Inoue was in complete control of every second of the fight against Doheny, Fulton, Moloney, Butler, Donaire (in the rematch), Rodriguez, McDonnell, Payano, Narvaez, Kono, and Hernandez too. Besides the knockdown, he controlled every second of the Nery fight too. Are those guys not top level either?

The only guys who really gave him truly competitive fights were Ryoichi Taguchi, Nonito Donaire (first fight), and Marlon Tapales. And the Tapales fight was only competitive because Inoue made the decision to stand and trade.

I think they're going to give him that opportunity to fight for the interim. And when Inoue vacates, that would give him the belt.
And the new interim email champion of the world! The stuff of dreams.

Does it really matter when all the belts are going to be vacant anyway?

What's the difference between fighting for a vacant belt or having an interim belt emailed? In either case you're winning a belt by not beating a champion.

It's just ridiculous that after Inoue knocks out one WBA 'interim' beltholder they're going to create another one immediately after.

The WBA is gonna do what the WBA does.

But ultimately it's no different than if they waited until after Inoue moves up and fed Cardenas somebody for the vacant strap.

With Nakatani claiming he's going to 126, this is probably Inoue's last ever fight at 122. So he could vacate the titles as soon as late September.

I agree with you I was commentating on how some people are crowning cadenas as the next king of the Division and I personally don't see it.

I don't see anyone crowning him the king of the division. I said after the Inoue fight he'd probably win one of the belts after Inoue moves up, and I think he's in a 50/50 fight if he were to face a guy like Nery or Tapales.

He should fight Goodman or accept that good Japanese money from Mr. Honda
