Sometimes you need to feel pressure to perform - i'm slightly in favour of an upset. Taylor would have beaten Essuman in 2021 but now he's not in his prime.

Essuman is at -240.. You should bet! Perso, I agree with what has been said here, that Taylor will outbox him, and cruise to victory, specially in his backyard. Essuman will need a KO, or at least a pair of KD.

Yeah, I can see a way for Taylor to come out and just befuddle Ekow but I just get a negative vibe coming from Taylor, he's talking about retirement and this would be a great last hurrah if he wins but equally if he loses it's in front of his fans. I think he had to fight at 100% of his potential to beat Prograis and J.R and it's difficult for any fighter to consistently do that, he couldn't Vs Caterall and that's why he lost the first fight imo. He couldn't get up for it.
If Ekow can get up for this and I think he'll be able to mentally at least, then he'll win some rounds.
The ring walk sometimes gives clues. Spence body language before Crawford fight. Liam Smith's attitude before first eubank fight, he was so pumped up he could have been snorting in his dressing room. We'll see.
I’m really pleased Ekow is getting the big fight he deserves. He has been a great warrior for many years & the big fight has always eluded him. Conor Benn, unsurprisingly, ran from Ekow like a rabbit from a fox & while I wouldn’t exactly say Josh Kelly swerved the man, he wasn’t overly eager to get it on. I can’t, in all honesty see him beating Taylor, or even making it very competitive. I understand SteveM’s comment but there are levels & the comment that 'he had to fight at 100% of his potential to beat Prograis and J.R’ is telling because 90% or even 85% of Taylor is going to be too much for Ekow’s skill set to cope with. Taylor by late rounds stoppage, imo, but I think the referee or corner will have to step in because Ekow is as brave as a lion & as hard as granite.

Well, there we have it. Taylor was just not hungry enough... Plus his corner did a horrible job. He could have boxed intelligently, used the ring a bit more, move and throw combinations, but he just went for the kill early, spent too much energy, and then folded. Oh well... Happy retirement!

I wish I put some money on but I would never bet more than ?0 given my finances o it wouldn't have made much difference. I think you are right - if had stayed disciplined and just fought to win 7 rounds and conserved his energy - but his punches had almost no effect on Ekow. Retirement mandatory now.
