Mikey Garcia would have been fast food for Bud. Robert Garcia knew this.

Bud is a great fighter just not as great as his most rabid fans would have us believe. At a neutral site Bud would have got at best a draw against Madrimov. He’s reached his ceiling at 154 and Tszyu,Ortiz,Ennis and Fundora would present major problems for Bud . Middleweight ? Fuhget about it !

Hagler is most famous for fighting blown up LWs and WWs.

Calling Hearns a blown up welterweight is silly.

He was quite acclimated to mw before he fought Hagler.

Carried that devastating power up with him.

I actually think Marvin may have stalled the fight for a minute to think about what he was getting into.

Bud Crawford gets my respect as well.

Check the records. Hearns did move up to fight Hagler. In fact, Hagler's three biggest fights (Hearns, Duran, SRL), the ones that made him famous, were against guys moving up in weight. Two of those opponents' best weights were 2-4 weight classes below MW. These are not insignificant facts when evaluating and comparing ATGs.

Hagler may have only been in one weight division, but what an incredible fighter.

Arguably the greatest middleweight ever, with arguments for Robinson, Monzon and a prime Roy, who wasn't there for long.

A good mention for Hopkins as well, especially the way he dazzled against Trinidad.

Boots should be next for Crawford. Both undefeated, both champions and they both should get
a decent paycheck. Canelo is extremely huge and Bud's final fight would end in a devastation.

Nah nah nah, Marvelous Marvin Hagler is most famous for being one of boxing's greatest ever champions & the guy who blown-up WW's & LMW's were considered suicidal to even think about fighting.

To be a blown-up LW & think about fighting Marvelous, you had to be Duran.
