    Benavidez is the most dangerous fight for Canelo

    Benavidez can not only beat Canelo, he can also take star power from him. If Benavidez beats Canelo and takes his belts, Mexican fans will support him and forget Canelo.

    Bivol and Beterbiev are Russians and they have no big fan bases and American and Mexican casuals will never support them. they can only beat Canelo, not steal the star power.

    That is why Canelo will never fight Mexican or American with Mexican heritage. He can`t afford to lose his fans.

    he's also a hooker which Canelo's defense is extremely effective against.

    Canelo would hit him with hooks to the body.

    I'd favor Canelo in that fight.

            Id like to see Canelo back at his weight and see if his fire is still burning, if he is hungry he beats Bene, if he is not he loses.

                It is often mentioned Canelo would stop Benavidez with body shots, but I cannot see how without canelo getting punished for it.
