NSB Pick Em 2022 MASTERTHREAD

Okay gents, up this week only one meaningful fight for the WBA Cruiser between unbeatens Arsen Goulamirian and Alexi Egorov for the WBA full Cruiser. Thread to go up late Monday or Tuesday.

The following week - the 26th - we got Parker vs Ryder and Rougarou vs Chon for sure, I'm considering Richards vs Bolotniks too cos it should be a good fight but I'm not sure I can really justfy it on the basis of our inclusion critieria.

See my post above. If you did monthly comp you could squeeze fights like bolotniks in.

Something else about monthly fights >> by the last few days of November - we already know what fights are happening in December (bar short-notice injury replacements) - so participants would already be able to plan their strategy for the December fights, including use of multipliers, and of course any other months - so that would also take away much of the weekly issue of which fights to include, at least condense it to a 1/2 day discussion at the end of every month.

On a personal level - I've really enjoyed this years comp, but I don't know if I am going to go again in 2023 if it's a yearly competition. I'm a competitive person so I get involved watching the videos - thanks Mikey G !! - put a bit of time and effort into it, plus the posting as well which is all good and fun, but it does take time. Anyways, 99% certain most people like to stay with the tried and tested,and there's value in that, but those are my thoughts.

The last official update on post 1005 is correct I believe. The only differences between our scores come from where you've inadvertantly scored people for multipliers they didn't have and for Baltimore's late Rakhimov pick.

I'll get the new tally up for last night's fight at some point today and compare our scores again after that.
