    Why is it that

It was ok for pacquiao to fight david diaz...
and it was ok for him and de la hoya to fight

but floyd gets discredited for fighting marquez who is definitely a better legit fighter than a david diaz or oscar de la hoya?

and im a fan of both fighters..clearly as you can see in my sig

im just tired of all the "Ignorant Hate" and BIASED opinions..

Pacquiao moved up a division to fight Diaz. Mayweather is fighting someone moving up two weight divisions. The difference couldn't be any clearer.

Manny fought people his size or bigger and Floyd picked on a smaller guy, end of thread!

david diaz was a tune to get pac used to 135 lbs and set him up for the dlh payday, same as the baldomire fight was a set up for his dlh fight.

pbf fought dlh too, so I dunno why you're complaing for.

cause floyd already got his tune up and payday. its time he fought mosley / cotto / etc..

some of it is pure hate and bias, but some of the criticism floyd gets is justified.

            This makes no sense.

Diaz and De La Hoya were both bigger than Pac.

Marquez is moving up two divisions to fight Mayweather.

Where is the comparison? How are those two fights in any way a case that Floyd should get credit for fighting Marquez?

              WOW...really?
so u guys give all the credit to pacquiao for going up two weight divisions to beat de la hoya and right away you take that possibility away from marquez?

And floyd fought a 160 pound de la hoya and he weighed in 148 during fight night
and still beat him..yet he gets no credit

i swear you pacquiao fans are ridiculous when it comes to IGNORANT BIASED opinions... im a fan of both but all of a sudden you guys make me feel like i dont wanna be a manny fan.. you guys are a DISGRACE!

              and BTW

Genaro Hernandez, Carlos Baldomir, Philip Ndou, Diego Corrales, De La Hoya
WERE ALL BIGGER THAN FLOYD...yet he knocked out two of them convincingly and decisively beat the other two, yet u dont give him credit?

I understand if you guys dont like him, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND if you guys dont like him, but to not give him any credit is just ridiculous

I notice there are many posters on this site that recycle this exact same topic repeatedly on this forum. For whatever reason, appreciating a great fighter for his skills and accomplishments isn't enough. There is an obsession with creating these exact same threads about unfair hatred towards him, double standards against him, and negative critiques of any fighter that somehow stands in opposition to him. ******ity breeds more ******ity, and a lot of posters here, I presume younger ones who are new to boxing, are more attracted to the immature arguments about this man than any serious talks of the on-goings of the sport. I see this almost every day that I look in this forum. I don't understand why supposed fans of boxing can't move beyond childish back and forthing on the exact same subject and move on. There are only so many times you should be able to have the same petulant argument without getting tired of it. I sincerely hope I'm not the only one that has noticed this.

Generally it's ok to move UP weight and fight bums but going DOWN weight to fight is considered bad form, especially when ducking people at your own weight to do so.

                  Are you new to boxing?

WOw ok.. so why should floyd even fight pacquiao then?
coz pacquiao and marquez are the same size... and mayweather isnt even a big welterweight

so people wanna see mayweather against pacquiao but not marquez and both guys are the same size..???
