Believe it or not the biggest obstacle is ESPN.

as long as they keep putting him #1 P4P Crawford isn’t going to take a risk. What for?

espn is terrible. They had Loma #1 as well and when he lost they replaced him with another ESPN fighter. No doubt If Crawford loses they’ll put Teofimo #1.

Pac didnt want to fight Crawford in 2016-2017 and Roach made it clear Terrence was a "bad/dangerous opponent". Manny fought Matthyse instead...

Crawford cant force Spence, Thurman, Danny Garcia, or Pacquiao to fight him.
You have to see things from the proper perspective. Yes, Crawford stopped Horn in the 9th round, but Manny had him stumbling around and nearly out on his feet in round 9. The ref could have easily stopped the fight then. Kell suffered two consecutive KOs from Golovkin and Spence, having both left and right orbital bones broken, and getting a beating both times in the process. He was clearly a shell of his former self by the time Crawford fought him. Crawford's reluctance to fight Spence is not difficult to explain as we've seen from some other fighters: He's not confident that he can beat Spence, so he wants a huge payday beyond reason to take the risk.

That is pricing yourself out you imbecile! Spence has fought top welterweights and unified, Crawford fights faded former champs and bums. Crawford has a trash resume overall and his welterweight resume is pure dog sheeit. Only a fool like you would blame anyone but Crawford for his weak resume full of cherry picking b class or lower trinket holders, faded former champs and bums. Beating a hype job cherry picker doesn't really enhance legacy and he is no draw so the $ isn't all that either. Crawford re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top guys. There's no other excuse for his trash resume. He wanted the easy $ along with the Top Rank protection program. Fools like you fall for the Top Rank bullsheeit. They hype their fighter off another's name, act like they want to fight that fighter, never try to negotiate, sign a sheeit fight, then blame the other guy they are using to hype their guy for the signed sheeit fight. After so many sheeit fights you would think some of you thick headed dumbasses would finally realise it's a sham.
Well I guess that I go on Crawford's boxing ability and skills as would those in the know who actually arrange fights and put their money where their mouth is. Casuals on the other hand are superficial and get all emotional about their boys.

Yeah agree with Eddie on this, when he said no to 50/50 and went on to talk about how basically "That Ship Has Sailed On The Spence Fight" I was like...WHAT?!

That is why I posted that was complete PR Disaster. What if investors was interested in throwing around big money to make that fight...well he just ruined everything with his "I Don't Care About The Spence Fight" Stance. Instead I think his approach should be "50/50 Spence Lets Make History". Bud not reacting to anything Spence is saying, he is kind of reacting to Internet Fans and Spence Groupies who post negative stuff in his comment section all day bashing and attacking him. Then he made things even worse trying to take digs at Canelo now.

I personally don't care about none of that, I like Bud, one of my favorite fighters to watch currently. I just think the issue is that Bob Arum don't know how to Promote and Market him and he doesn't know how to market to a Demographic that would appreciate Bud Talent and Skills. That is why he is telling Bud to Self Promote more because he just cannot reach the Audience that Bud Needs to get to that next level

Fighters all together need to stop reacting to the Internet Trolls as well as some of the Idiots on youtube who call fighters "Bums" I feel like that is what he is completely getting caught up in...saying things to get a reaction out of those people

Casuals go off the eye test and blame others for their hype jobs trash resume and cherry picking. Only a casual would assume skills and ability off beating bums and washed up guys.

I mean Crawford seems like he wants to fight Spence. Spence wont even take interviews on Crawford...difficult to see how Crawford is the one ducking but i respect different opinion

What sells is the matchup, he will make more money against any top WW than what he is doing fighting second tier fighters because he and TR are so hard to negotiate with. But is not young either and will be one of those excellent fighters that was never tested.
Ya thats why theyre called negotiations. I still dont get how Crawfords opponents are 2nd tier. We dont really know their tier. None of Mean Machine or Benavidez have fought PBC guys. When Brook did fight Spence it was very competitive until Brook ran out of gas and quit in r10 or r11. Brook was competitive for r1 or r2 with Crawford only.

The three of Thurman, Porter, and Garcia have only proven that theyre relatively equal to each other but we dont know what their value is other than being about equal to each other. So Spence fighting and beating them doesnt prove much

I don't care about negotiations, it is another excuse not to fight and Crasford has not had a notable win. He had solid opponents but no real step up. Fighting Gamboa, Horn, Brook and Khan were more business decisions than actual challenging himself.

Crawford is trying to fight the PBC guys but they said they dont fight across the street (meaning other promotions). And their words have matched their fights as they only fight in-house. Crawford fought Khan who wasnt TR...so he does fight other promo companies and TR offered Danny Garcia a career high payday to fight TC but he fight Granados instead which did nothing for him...and he was pandering for rematches with Porter and Thurman - dont know how beating Granados and not Crawford helped that case...
